Wonderful. Now we’re ripping off…er, paying homage to 40-year-old Rob Reiner mockumentaries.
Incidentally, Batiuk did an amazingly similar joke regarding Ed, a flamethrower, and the town ice sculpture contest back on 2/16/2023. Maybe he’s paying homage to himself.
3 years ago, I might’ve chuckled at this. But now, it’s FUNKYTRAGIC-BEAN, so I imagine the people on the other side of the fence are all covered in splinters. While, once again, all the leaves are back on the trees.
Using a leaf blower with that much power would be like holding a jet engine. It would have blown Cranky backwards through the fence as soon as he turned it on. Then we could have a couple weeks of his trip to the hospital emergency room.
This is the Cranky of old. A sort of Ralph Kramden like character who does stupid things. I’m glad our old Cranky is back. In Centerville idiocy still reigns and the self-righteous Westview crowd has gone home.

“…shouldn’t have had it set on eleven!”
Especially when the settings only went up to ten.

The frame side of the fence is facing him, which means it’s HIS fence, since code requires the nice side to be facing out, so why’s she all mad?

Actually Ed, the kids shouldn’t trust you with ANY power tools. I’m just surprised that their Homeowners Inusrance policy doesn’t explicity forbid it/
