Hmmm………This ranger Dan kind of reminds me of Phil Silvers.

Tomorrow we learn about Lyme disease.

Dill’s logic is a little Calvinesque ; like when calvin tried to wear a mask on the back of his head to prevent tiger attacks . Yeah that Calvin .

Alice is really set on seeing those fish-slapping bears. Too bad all they’re going to see is Ranger Dan taking off his shoes.

Ranger Dan looks like a better mate for Miss Bliss than does the banjo man.

I have never heard of wearing a hat to keep the ticks away. True?

I’d think ticks would attack the ankles. I agree that the ranger would be better for Miss Bliss than the guitarman.

I’m too young to remember Phil Silvers. Was he a TV evangelist? Don’t forget, I’m having another 39th birthday(no I don’t remember Jack Benny or Rochester either).

They look alike. They dress alike. Could the weird new girl be Miss Bliss’ daughter? Or to be less controversial, Miss Bliss’ clone?

Maybe it’s her identical cousin. The Phil and Patty Show.

celecca, vldazzle, pat attention! The hat doesn’t protect by covering the areas susceptible to bites, it protects by confusing the ticks! Wearing it backwards further confuses them.

And all of you who are trying to break up Miss Bliss and Timmy Fretwork are hateful people.

(Please forgive my snippiness. I’m in deep mourning. Penelope Cruz has gotten married. Worse still, she married Anton Chigurh. He’s a very bad man. He’s not my friendo.)

If this was an animated show, Patrick Warbuton (from The Rules Of Engagement) would be the perfect voice of Ranger Dan.

Ranger Dan’s old ranger shoes must have burned up in the Nature Center fire. Or maybe they’re stuck in the sinkhole. Or maybe Godzilla stomped on them!

Any seasoned hiker knows to wear comfortable, well-fitting shoes. Doesn’t bode well….

Ticks actually do like to hide in hair, where the longer it is before you find them, the more suspectible you are to getting Lyme disease. Our family has found them hiding in our hair, which is why I know this. Chiggers like to get your ankles, waist, and if you guys squat while wearing shorts, you might end up with a severe case of “jock” itch. Mosquitoes just go for bare flesh. Oh, the joys of living in the country….

The whole Nature Center is probably about as big as a city block, so I don’t think he’ll be suffering too long.

I bought a hat that claimed to have insect repellent properties. Didn’t seem to work much.
