So those are Tracyville’s original slippery shysters ?  I would make sure to keep my appendages away from Sam’s face as I think he has cannibalistic tendencies. Those choppers of his look menacing and his demented grin isn’t helping.

Sam looks like a ventriloquist’s dummy in that last panel. Maybe tomorrow he’ll drink a glass of water while Dick recites the alphabet.

YEEEE! Sam’s channeling Peter Lorre in a festive mood?!?!?! I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t ‘pop’ him himself. jut to get a look at his snazzy new UFone 67 3/4. Covet it, Sam, Steeeeeeeal it! You know you WANT to!

This is great ! The dialogue and the look are what I’ve been missing for a long time . Sam looks awesome ! We even have a couple of mob lawyers . Did I say that Sam looks awesome ? If I did it’s because he does .

Judging from the way the wind is whipping around Dick’s coat in P1, the killer left the window open when he escaped through it.

And the plot is off and running! Sam’s coat is a thing of beauty in panel 1. Looking forward to the reveal of Tracy’s face, hopefully tomorrow.

So a Mob Lawyer is bumped off—-and the list has been narrowed down to a thousand suspects

It seems that Mr. Noel is really teasing out the reveal of how he will draw Tracy’s famous profile. Let’s hope it lives up to our expectations!

I’m not too fond of the way Sam’s face is drawn in panel 3, it’s a bit too cartoonish.

I’ll write off the all black Dick Tracy as an ink mistake, since his coat,hat, and tie are in color

From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

I like the final panel, where Sam Catchem is grotesquely leering over Jay Scarborough’s corpse. I’m assuming we can’t see most of the vic’s face because it’s been hamburgerized by one to several bullets, and Sam is contemplating the limits of facial recognition AI.

..speaking of “stand-up guy”…..I’d be freakin’ if one of those flat-black spray painted mannequins, wearing a “Dick Tracy Halloween costume”, from the men’s department at Macy’s or similar, came floating into the room while I was in a craouch postion……..that old “The After Hours” Twilight Zone episode, y’know…..admit it: THAT still haunts y’all, too………..

Ok, little comment here….Tracy’s arms look a little long and I need someone to explain to me the little “flair” in Sam’s hat…I know he has it all the time but I cant figure it out, it just looks a little more pronounced do his ears and chin/cheekbones (but that could be just the “lighting”)…but so far I’m cool with the artwork, keep it coming
