I’m suspicious about the identical suit. It seems more likely to me that someone who isn’t the brother dressed to look like the brother.

Sam’s clown hair and leering grin make me want to do crime in some other town. P.4. Tracy looks like he forgot to put his dentures in before going to work today. This Minit aint no Misery that’s for sure. The P.2. upshot view of their corny looking mugs is to laugh. :-) LOL !

Where is vengey and why am I the one asking when fartstruck usually does the (dis) honor of asking …. the question No One wants an answer to ? ;-p LOL ! ?

Sam, we live own a time when people take selfies dangling out of high-rise windows, standing on the edges of cliffs, & jumping into tiger dens at the zoo. Snapping a selfie while taking a bullet? Yawn.

Tracy is drawn well, but Sam still looks like Flat Top and B B Eyes had a “love child”

It just hit me what the first panel is about,a bit of artistic licencing with Sam lining up the phone to the face of the vic to open up the phone, which doesn’t work in real life. Also I believe in the real life be regarded as contaminating or interfering with evidence, which I’m sure the the Friends of Sam™️ are not happy that he’s being put into that light.

I am liking the different angles and perspectives with the art… It might take me a little while to grow accustomed to the art, but I do like the visual variety of the shifting angles.

Kudos to Sam for trying to use the tech in a good way. Of course no one takes a selfie as they are being shot. But the police will want to look through the messages and see if any recent messages provide a clue.

And, if the brothers are more or less identical twins we need to ponder briefly if we can be certain which one was shot?

Looks like the artist is trying to replicate Chester Gould’s style, at least somewhat.

I am totally digging on this Minit Mystery . I am actually looking forward to every days new strip . It’s been far too long since we’ve seen Sam and Dick being cops and doing their thing . The Scar Brothers are pretty cool too .

Loving the fat, angular pen strokes. Tracy’s chin in p.3 could puncture a tin can.

I like the 4-panel format.

Something’s screwy with the selfie. Dead guy was holding the flip phone in his right hand Sunday – NOT the modern photo taking i-Phone. Also the guy across from dead guy had on a big coat with the collar turned up so the picture is not of him. I fear the convoluted story that will explain all this will be unbelievable and disappointing which will lead us all to brand this MM another DUD.

The art is giving Chester Gould vibes :) But Sam looks a little like Flattop in panel 4.

Looking over examples of Mr. Noel’s art on-line, I found where he did his own take on Superman # 1, where Supes is hovering above Metropolis. He did an excellent rendition of the cape, which is not surprising, because his lines flow, rather than being angular and choppy (something that always bothered me about the capes depicted by Marvel artists). His work here, with obviously appreciative nods to Chester Gould, is a lot of fun to see.

Tracys sharp chin could be considered as a lethal weapon!

Kudos to guest artist Howie Noel, whose characters look close to Gould’s rendering.

I think Sam is right and Tracy is wrong because when a selfie is taken, it doesn’t include the phone in the picture!

I think Sam looks like a Hasidic Jew by the artists rendering of the long hair.

A brief search indicates that you might or might not be able to open a phone with a dead person’s face, depending on type of phone and how long it’s been.
