One “good” thing about Pennsylvania is that our state law specifically allows hand-held use of cell phones for voice communications – and prohibits any municipality from enacting a stronger ban so the law is uniform throughout the Commonwealth!

It is easier to denigrate people for smallish sins if you don’t know them. But it takes personal contact to get up to the biggies.

Texting while driving?

Fortunately, in my country, tinted windows on cars are prohibited.

Sometimes you don’t want to know what’s going on in that car.

Tinted windows are illegal in many states.

One thing for sure. The car jackers love cars with tinted windows.

I didn’t want tinted windows but they were already tinted when the truck arrived at the dealership.

Hiding from the sun.

My suspicion is that the people behind the tinted glass are smoking weed.

They’re allowed on limos! Hmmmm….

Ok; time to move on. Is Frazz / Mallett a closet picker?

Out of the mouth of a child. It is much easier to make up one’s own ‘profile’ of another if one knows nothing beyond his/her outward appearance. Question is, will she learn from that to look more closely before judging.

At one time, rear side windows and rear window could be tinted but not windshield. Then came tinted windshields. Have been in a line of cars with tint so heavy I can’t identify if anyone is actually driving. More worrisome still, one also cannot see if a cell phone is in use. Getting worse all the time.

In Ontario rear windowns can be tinted. Side front windows can be tinted to 30% and the windshield should not be tinted. As a cyclist my life depends on being able to make eye contact with drivers at intersections. Tinted windows are a huge impediment to that.

Sounds like DiStupid’s Florida…

Sometimes it’s easier to like someone the less you know about them.

Smart move.

Truer words

Some tinted windows are ridiculous, and I always wonder if the people inside are criminals or something.

Illegal many places for the same reason as no hijab on drivers’ license photos, try not to look like a suspect so enforcement personnel may go away.

“That person might be doing something I don’t like, and they should be shamed into stopping.”

“And what if you’re doing something they don’t like?”

“Well, that’s none of their business!”

Strange world we live in.

I feel the same about people wearing tinted sunglasses. What the heck are they hiding?

Imagine people walking up to me to look into the lenses of your reflective sunglasses and then give you a nasty look for looking at them .

Simple minded people should not have any effect on how we feel but they can and do sometimes.

Jerry Seinfeld: Are we not human? If we pick, do we not bleed? I am not an animal!

Not knowledgeable enough to know that there are places, such as the Southwest, where nearly all cars have tinted windows.

or putting on makeup, or brushing their hair with both hands, or other nefarious actions.
