One of the things we coach people to do on interviews is to make eye contact. But NOSE contact? Well, maybe in Eskimo culture.
I also have an article on Linked in on how to set up for a video interview. One of the cautions I point out is to have the camera at eye level rather than sitting on the desk. The latter position gives an “up the nose” view of your face which is usually not flattering.
I also caution people who use laptops to elevate the laptop so that the room and not the ceiling is in the background. Unless you frequently fall down drunk, most people are not used to seeing rooms at this angle. I saw one man who had his ceiling fan behind his head: the world’s biggest propeller beanie.

The work environment at my last job were stifling; I was suffocating there. I need a challenging position where I can stretch out and breath.
