There’s practically no day in the year when there hasn’t been something Star Wars related showing up, somewhere… – Storm Troopers handing out tickets on the freeway, A ‘back to school’ event with a Star Wars theme, C3POs cereal, the Ewoks (craze with their own cartoon, cereal and stuffed toys), giving Han Solo the key to the city… Probably will get their own Las Vegas show, soon. Boy, will Celine Dion be mad, when she has to fight Han Solo for the last parking space…

Oh come on!! The strip is making a point about the latest commercialization of what is basically at base a religious, should I even say, Christian holiday. Using a Star Wars tie-in is an example of that even though it is cute. Remember these are characters in a strip, so hating them is puerile. Jesus -:)

Everyone talks about how horrible the SW Holiday special is, but have any of you even seen it? I have, and yes, it IS horrible, but people often just parrot everything others say, without actual experience of things.

My point exactly, which makes the Bernice character comment as a criticism of this trend valid, and not a reason to dislike the character.

Kids Kristmas Karoler…KKK?

Yes, the Kids Kristmas Karolers seems to be an overlooked oopsie today. Then again, Kourtney, Khole, and Kim (Kardashian) don’t seem to notice either.

The first picture is a Falcon from the 60s. The second is a Falcon from the 70s. Production of the Falcon in the US ended in 1970 1/2, The last American Falcon looked similar to “2HANDS” up there.

I saw the very first Star Wars movie when it came out. After seeing the “original”, I really didn’t care to see the others.More interested in seeing the next daily events in the strip. It’s been kind of a revolving door of characters.

The kids are happier. The parents are happier, after all they are about to have the uninterrupted school break to be with their sweetlings. .Every day is a good day if you let it be.
