Instead of playing “tennis”, Bernice and Dez should’ve said their orders’ details all at once after the first person gave her order.

Servers have to have good retaining powers. I admire that. I had servers who took orders from a large group of us and they directed the other servers to deliver the plates to the right patron. That amazed me. I would never get everything right. I forget so quickly.

Oh you absolutely do, Paris! Bring them some green ham along with the green cheese.

I am impressed that Tiff is at least trying to prepare for the job.

Tiff you better be thankful that this is a trial run.

Good to see Tiff learn a trade. This just might put her on the trajectory to independence from Ann.

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

Stay away from that green cheese.

She forgot Dez’ light tea.

It is good to see someone so proud of their work. Go get ’em, Tiff.

A lot of drawing, a lot of words. Hello, Houston, we have a problem. This mission is running out of steam, time to abort.

This arc is a real put down of Tiffany and has Tiffany representing a specific group of women… blondes.

Mix them all in a blender, it’ll come out right!

You know what they say, “All those university girls look alike.”

Lesson learned (I hope)….Take ONE person order at a time.

I can see Tiffany’s 1st day she’s going to forget people’s orders ,deliver food to the wrong table and then she’s going to trip and fall flat on her face.

Tiffany (never my favourite character – that’s Knut) is serious about the job. She’s practicing. Might need a bit more practice, even though she’s already better than some waitpersons I have known.

She’s got something alright, just not sure if she’s got “it”.

Delivering for Postmates, I run into a lot of servers at fast-food places who are just about as good at getting an order right as Tiff is.

I wonder if Tiff is just pulling their legs. :D

‘Waitress, there’s a bee in my soup’‘Yes sir, it’s the fly’s day off ….’

‘Waitress, will my pizza be long?’‘No sir, it’ll be round ….’

Any pair of customers who order like that deserve all that they get.

They could end up with squid on rye toast.

So that was my beloved Tiffany who took my order so many times?

I have eaten some interesting meals because of it.

Wouldn’t one of the other servers at the Fuse be training Tiffany? TJ has to know she has no experience. She can’t train herself.

Good thing she’s practices with her friends before starting to work. Learning to stay focused on someone else’s wishes will be really difficult for Tiffany.

What ever happened to the team nails business? Now she’s a dumb waiter.

Vaiter, dere’s someting wrong with my soup. Whats wrong with your soup? Taste de soup! Ok… Wait, there’s no spoon! Achhaaaahh!!!

Tiff, I’ll have a soup sandwich. My wife will have a white on rye with whole wheat toast. Jake will have four fried chickens and a coke. Elwood here wants an order of dry white toast. And snap it up. We’re on a mission from god.

Swis soup sounds good.

Not sure how waitressing is supposed to fit into her plan of opening her own nail salon, or did that idea just get abandoned mid-storyarc?

I’m betting there will be alot of 1 cent tips with those well tuned skills. /s

Well the good signs are all around, Tiffany is practicing the job, and the biggest issue is her misplaced confidence. Lets hope she is drawn to gain confidence the right way, which is with hard-won experience. Also she is interacting so well with Bernice of all people, and Dez, who is that kind of new friend in college who is a treasure. Does it mean good things for her eventual independence and confidence not misplaced? Well MD and everyone hilarity will ensue, while we wait.

I give her a lot of credit for continuing to practice, after dropping the drinks from a tray during her first try. Maybe something will come of this after all…

I remember asking a waitress for some chopped onions to put on my chili. She came out with chopped onions in her bare hand and dumped them into my chili (glad it wasn’t a guy).

At least she knows to practice before things really go wrong. Although Swiss soup sounds mighty tempting…

Tiffany should go back to doing nails – she seems to be good at that.

Seems like a lot of people who were perfect on the first day of their first job in the chat here.

If there are several guests, don’t order until the server looks at you.

Guess Tiff’s not smart enough to tell them one at a time.

Some customer’s scramble their own orders. From Zits, kind of: Mom ordering pizza: Make sure the chicken topping is grass fed, the beef sausage is range free, the cheese dairy free, and the crust gluten free.

Well, she’s got Something, all right.

hey I think she was my waitress last time I went to the local diner. Got my entire order wrong the first three tries. I quit sending it back when the only mistake was the beverage

More practice! The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain. Repeat! Repeat again. “Fuse burger, light mayo, Swiss; tomato soup, HOT, green tea.” Repeat! Repeat! Again!

This is not Tiffany’s fault. Who orders like that?
