Time to call Luann and head out on a Maui vacation! The hair cutting arc pointed out that Luann needs to get out more. This would be a perfect way for her to do it. And maybe she will see Aaron there (now broken up from Claudia).

I posit that GnK are not heading to Maui or the pool.

If you are set on your vacay as being with dad in Maui, just order a cardboard figurine and park him on the lounger next to you. Next, order inflatable palm trees around the pool with a bar somewhere. Don’t forget the drink umbrellas and leis.

At some point, even living carefree in a mansion that looks like something out of a dream can become really boring. Or that’s what I heard someone say… Tiffany could still go to Maui, alone or with a friend, or stay in her huge and fancy house. But she wants her always busy father and she can’t have him. This will forever make her a deeply miserable character. I still hope she decides to go to Maui with Luann.

Looks like GREG scratched his name in the newly poured pool cement.

Kind of lonely, buy quite a layout. I’m willing to bet that Tiffany decides to invite the Luannverse gang over for a pool party, even a few days long party. Could include the hallway crew. That ought to get the old man"s attention, and be hades of a story arc too.

Tiffany’s mindset has changed. She usually wears skimpy bikinis. I’ve never seen her in a 1 piece but she looks amazing.

Her Dad OFFERED her to take a friend to Maui. Come on, GO! I still like the idea someone said the other day about taking LuAnn and running into Aaron Hill there.

When I first started reading this strip, I didn’t really care for Tiffany.

After some years of exposition, she’s grown on me.

The thing is for every “win” that Tiff does get, she gets pushed back my “parental” loss. More meaning her dad just not being there for her.

I think it’s pretty evident that she just wants the same kind of parental love Frank and Nancy show Luann. Or the love that Brad and Toni show Shannon.

She just wants her dad to be there and say I’m proud of you and give her a hug. She just wants him to be there to help her navigate rocky patches and give her a hug.

And she doesn’t seem to know how to say that to her dad…something like dad I just need you to be my dad and then have him give her a hug that says he understands while she’s crying on his shoulder

Other things are missing in her life: Friends, a husband, children of her own, a career, and a mommy who makes it go away.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen Tiffany in a swimsuit since she “filled out“…

Where is that “pool boy” when you need him?

Time to haul out the teeny ’kini.

OK! This is pretty dreary. Something needs to happen, quick!

Why bother wearing a suit if she is the only one there?

Tiff… two out of three is still good and you can come out ahead with those.. i.e Maui and fun.

Maybe the rough part is also not having any friends to share the staycation with in that marvelous pool.

The last TIME I SAW A SWIMMING POOL THAT SIZE WAS AT A 4,000 ROOM LAS VEGAS HOTEL.

Tiffany could be doing a lot of things besides sitting around crying boo hooo hooo! I have no sympathy for ignorant rich people who sit around feeling sorry for themselves.

For someone who could plan and organize a romantic dinner, and design, build a pagoda of peace, she should be able to play a pool party including palm trees and a tiki hut! Come on, Tiff! ;-)

Subtle as a brick. I suppose a lone tumbleweed will be tumbling across the lawn soon. I think the Evanses get off on the idea of a former rival becoming bereft. But Luann is faring just as badly—she just doesn’t have the wits to realize it.

If I met Tiff in the real world I would think she is overweight. Her character is so shallow that she would actually care about my opinion. And that is the problem, people care just to much on how the rest of the world perceive them. Get over it and live your life.

Say, this big ol’ place needs to be taken care of. Shouldn’t there be a POOL BOY?

Tiffany’s Maui Getaway party for a party size crowd, $500.00 per person.

In thinking about going to Maui with her dad, Tiffany mentioned “fun.” Her dad didn’t seem personally like much fun. I suspect most of the fun in the past was him buying expensive stuff for her. Tiff needs to rethink “fun.” Tiff came close to having fun on the nature hike with Gunther.

You know this obsession with Tiffany’s weight is so underwhelming. She is definitely NOT obese. She is within normal ranges for what I think a young woman of her age and size would be in this country. It’s actually a healthy weight, if she tried to be too thin that would be less healthy. She does need to watch her weight, women hormonally gain weight as they get older, as I hasten to add so do men. I personally think she is a more “real” depiction of a 19 or 20 year old young woman. She did get mostly obese before when her depression was more acute, but she seems to be working through that, my projection indicates to me. In a country which is the most obese per capita globally, the fat (shaming) obsession is both ironic and bigoted at base. Leave her depiction alone. Can we get back to the real theme of this arc? Thanks GnK for having a realistic depiction of our poor little rich girl.

For Pete’s sake, child, throw a party! Call everyone over and have a ball!

Tiff, invite the gang from the Fuse over for a pool party. Use some of daddy’s’’ money and throw them a big Hawaiian themed party for them – maybe Ox will show up in a speedo. I’m sure Jack will.

Look on the bright side. Maui is currently under siege from tiger sharks. The worst you can get from your pool is chlorine bleaching in your hair. Have the gang come over!

It is sad that the commenters have better ideas for story arcs than what we usually get. Tiff should go to to Maui with Luann or Dez or Bets, or all of them. Or, throw a big pool party for the Fuze and college crews. Just no solitary pity parties.

Oh, woe! Our not-so-little Tiffany ts teetering on the brink of clinical depression, I fear….

I’ve seen this before. All alone until the pool boy shows up…

Tiffany’s situation reminds me of an old song that said, to have fun you have to have friends!
