Imagine telling someone they’re “94% blah”. SO Insulting! Luann shouldn’t go along with their garbage.

So what will they try to Brand Luann as?

Well, who isn’t gullible in the face of praise? I’m trying to decide which comedy team Bets and Tiff remind me of. Laurel and Hardy? No. Abbott and Costello? No. Martin and Lewis? There’s a bit of the Three Stooges here even if it’s only two. I think they are most like Hope and Crosby, two con men busily conning themselves as well as everyone else. Bets and Tiff are so giddy that you might think they ate an entire tray of Dez’s “special” brownies.

Luann, is who they are going to try to brand? Makes no sense!

When they say LuAnn is blah & bland they’re not wrong. Tif is just too blunt in her sales pitch.

G & K – Quit Picking on Luann!

In th last picture it looks like they managed to turn on a switch in Luann’s head an she has the ‘I can do anything look’. And it hasnt cost Luann anything! Now do something with it Luann while them two clowns are busy admiring each other an look like they’ve completely forgot about you

Tiff says “we” are so good at this; no, Bets is. Tiff just pours gasoline on the fire with her comment in panel 1. Bets is the one with business sense; she realizes that the client has to be made to feel good about herself or the process cannot move forward.

This is so sixth grade.

Maybe now, but nobody back in my 19MumbletyMumble sixth grade class had enough perfectly-primed-for-powerful-possibilities potential to come up with anything close to this.

There’s one born every minute!

Bets. I’ve branded you as a publicist or a public relations spokesperson. You have a way with words.

And Luann takes the bait, hook, line, and, sinkher!

Luann, if you believe you’re full of potential, you don’t need anyone else to tell you what to do. Decide on your own. Bets doesn’t even know you and Tiffany has never liked you…

Somebody’s gonna put a contract out on those two!!

Looks like Luann has drunk the Kool-Aid served up by Bets via 3 simple words: “full of potential”. It looks like she has not noticed that labeled her 94% “blah” and has forgotten the “bland to brand” cheap shot. It is such a shame that G&K have written Luann to be a character who has so little self-esteem that she seems willing to buy into this malarkey.

And it AIN’T “potential” and it DOESN’T involve Luann.

Have you so soon forgotten that in the past, you bested Tiffany at just about every competition you two sparred in?? (Except fighting on the volleyball court)

AND that just about every gal in this Strip has had a boyfriend EXCEPT Tiffany?

And that the guys were casting hungry eyes at YOU at last year’s Doll-O-Ween party?

Luann, if you’re dumb enough to fall for Toxic Bets lies, well, you get every bad thing that happens to you.

And Tiff and Bets are full of themselves, believing that they have something going there.

Luann has already been convinced. I think being the beta test for Bets and Tiffany’s idea will be fun, as well as useful. They might actually help her clear up some of her personal doubts and I love it when Luann has that happy look full of curiosity and wonder on her face. The air is full of excitement, all three want to test themselves and are thrilled by the new sensation. Luann has to do it! If it goes wrong, she can always not follow their advice.

They are not paying attention to their “potential” client. Seems they’re more interested in cute taglines. And their “business” name needs work. However, Luann seems to be enthused about her potential. Lots of alliteration today.

Well ONE of them is good at it and her name ain’t Tiffany! Bets seems to have the magic touch. Can’t wait to see how they transform Luann.
