Puddles!!! Bad Dog!!! Don’t eat that!

I can’t imagine the puzzle piece tastes any good. And at what point was Puddles able to take a piece off of the table to chew on it?

Too late! Always immediately look for missing pieces. For me, it’s the younger grandkids who bang on the table and send pieces over the edges. So I stopped playing puzzles and am waiting for the youngest to outgrow the lets-send-everything-over-the edges phase.

Puddles. Puzzles. Really there is not much difference. Just exchange the z’s for d’s.

I was right yesterday when I said Puddles would be the next participant.

As I said a few days ago, the puzzle must be completed, so negotiate a trade with Puddles for something tastier than wet cardboard pieces, get some glue and clear tape and do the NASCAR thing. Don’t stop.

That’s what happens when you won’t buy any chew toys for poor Puddles!

I had a cousin that would swipe a couple pieces of a puzzle, and produce them along with a wild story of them being lodged in their shoe or some such rubbish.

Years ago, I spent a great many hours making a jig saw puzzle out of a photo of an antique car, glued to a very thin plywood backing. It was about 18" X 24" and I cut it very intricately on an old Delta jig saw. Once completed, I took it to my parent’s home to put it together for the first time. Got it finished, except for one piece. There it was, on the floor being chewed by my Grandmother’s nasty dog. Man, I wanted to kill that pooch.

Ah.

Poor Pud probably thought the puzzle piece was an animal cracker or a chew toy or something.

But if Nancy truly wants to relieve stress, next time try COFFEE.

Called the Puddles appearance yesterday. Perhaps next week we’ll actually seem the strip’s namesake all week. A Piro arc will be revived.

When that puzzle piece does show up I don’t think you’ll want to place it in the puzzle anymore.

Not if Puddles has anything to say about it!

I do jigsaw puzzles in a pet-free zone: the spare bedroom with the door closed.

Oh no! Even the faithful Puddles give gis contribution to ruin Nancy’s moment of relax?! It’s a total defeat! In the end, the one who behaved best with Nancy was Luann, who left her enjoy her jigsaw alone. This story made me want to do a jigsaw.

This was a cute little comedy arc this week .

I wonder if next week we will see the return of Aaron hill and delta! It would be a fun storyline if Luann sees them sneaking around in town and have a little fling!

Puddles you bad boy.

This has probably happened to many of us. I’ve bought sets missing a piece and made one. Since I donate them after finishing, I didn’t want anyone else frustrated. ;-)

Jigsaw puzzles are an annoying waste of time. Nancy spent all day hassling with the thing and ended up not being able to finish it. Truly a fruitless endeavor for someone who only wanted a relaxing diversion.

And there you have it……

Reminds me of the time my wife’s grandfather was trying to put a jigsaw puzzle together and was stuck trying to find one piece. He swore the piece was missing, and he and his wife tore the living room apart looking for it. He wouldn’t go any further until he found that piece. My wife and I walked in and, after her grandparents described the problem, I looked at the board, found the piece and put it in the puzzle. I thought he was going to shoot me.

I just put a puzzle together a couple of weeks ago and it was missing a piece. I was the only one home and have no pets. I must have checked the floor and the chairs 20 times. Now I have a puzzle I don’t know what to do with because who wants a puzzle you can’t complete? Usually I would donate it.

Oh Puddles, every little object on the floor is is a piece of dry food or a chew treat. Chew yes, treat no.

As a kids we would hide the last piece so we could say we finished the puzzle. We were “mean widdle kids”. Sorry Red.

Well, the puzzle is helping Puddles ease some stress.

Puddles is chewing on that missing piece. That could be a choking hazard.

It’ll turn up! In a stool! At the park!

Only .07% of the puzzle is missing. No-one will notice.

That’s what I have to watch out for, too! My cats like knocking my pieces to the floor and play with them.

You shall not pass!

Puddles is thinking, “this is paybacks for naming me Puddles.”

I remember doing a puzzle and eating popcorn. I dropped a puzzle piece and my Labrador Retriever nabbed it and swallowed it before I could stop him. He obviously thought it was a piece of popcorn!

I had a pet rat called George who liked puzzle pieces. He also liked £20 notes, not so much £10.

One of Nancy’s “helpers” probably knocked the piece onto the floor where “dog will eat anything” Puddles joined in with the helping

Someone will be picking up that piece……eventually.

Puddles’ name will get changed to Puzzles when that shows up in his stool.

It will pass, along with that puzzle piece.

Two cats made it impossible for the puzzle doer in our house.

Puddles wanted to help too.

we need to find out the source of Nancy’s stress; i’m thinking it may be related to last week’s topic i.e. age and loss of hormones.

A friend who works at Value Village said that they have to put the donated puzzles together before putting them out to ensure no pieces are missing so they do it as a group after hours once a week.

Or not…

Jigsaw. Jig went. Jig gone.

And this is the reason why I stopped doing jigsaw puzzles.

Heh! My wife’s brother had boxes and boxes of jigsaw puzzles he wanted to get out of his house; he and his wife were puzzle fans, but she died somewhat recently. They’ve been coming to us. (He may still have some yet.) They’re not all complete at this point; in fact, with them came several large ziplock bags of pieces from who-knows-which. My wife is spending hours a day doing them; when she gets one completed, it gets packed up for the local senior center (and maybe some other charities eventually). This has been going on for months. I don’t have the mental skills and patience for them.

Been there done that lol
