Now that opinions seem to be as valid as science, the people that used to be called whack jobs, and crazy, are now suddenly geniuses. Stable geniuses.

I think, therefore I’m a genius.

Social media gives even the most moronic among us a megaphone but it’s the people that listen to the morons and believe them that are what will destroy our society.

Generally, about half of the people make fact based choices. The other decide based on feelings. Explains a lot it seems.

Believe the science, but always ask who funded the study.

Actually science can change when something that was “true” is proven wrong.

Before the hi-tech stuff and social media, there was/is the book of truths that just debunks so many scientific facts..

It is.

I miss the days of newspapers. It used to take misinformation much longer to get around the world back then.

I trust mainstream media very little, Fox News (AKA infohatement") even less and social media not at all.

It used to be a case of “not everything you read on the internet is true”. Now it’s more a case of “not everything you read on the internet is false”. Sad times – mostly instigated by Trump with his fake news BS that everyone else is now copying. Bad Donald !!!

One of my neighbors says science has proven the bible to be true.

Before social media, more people thought.

Rational people think all people are rational – ’taint so. (One of the 1st lessons I learned when I started teaching)

Better worry less about politics and misinformation and begin to pay more attention to the damage from private equity buy-outs/close-outs.
