The original humpty dumpty wasn’t mentioned as an egg, that didn’t come until the victorian age. It’s thought it was a cannon in the english civil war, c 1644.

I am only here to see who posts “No where does it say Humpty Dumpty was an egg”

sorry but this, like most conspiracy theories, does not make sense. first of all everyone is talking about Humpty being pushed when the depiction clearly shows he’s about to be pulled. second, the mixing bowl is clearly insufficient for containing and scrambling Humpty. and third, where is the heat source?

Of course nowhere in the story does it say Humpty is an egg.

No where in the rhyme does it mention eggs

It never said how Humpty fell. I always assumed he drank some MD 20-20

Judging by the height of their hats, I see six chefs to command the staff but no cooks to do the actual cooking.

Nowhere in the poem is Humpty Dumpty discribed as an egg.

So it was a French chef operation.
