Obvious Man superpower is obviously being superfluous. Especially with politics.

If you decide on facts with the upcoming election you need to ask who is telling you the facts and who is telling you to check them yourself.

Me? I’m going for the patty melt with the garlic fries!

They both suck. I don’t like cheese.

Town I went to high school and college there was a restaurant that had a “hot hamburger” as an actual item on the menu. Not the same thing as a “hamburger”. Consider:

A “turkey sandwich” has cold sliced turkey between two slices of bread, with mayo spread on the bread, and is served with chips or french fries. A “hot turkey sandwich” is open-faced, with gravy over it, and is served with mashed potatoes (that also get gravy).

So while a “hamburger” is served on a bun, probably with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard, or some combination of parts of that list, and with chips or fries on the side, a “hot hamburger” is a patty on white bread with gravy, no other toppings, and mashed potatoes on the side.

The flight attendant asks whether you would like your meal to be a steaming bowl of horse exhaust with small shards of glass, or chicken. The undecided voter asks how is the chicken cooked and if a salad comes with it.

Difference between a hamburger and a patty melt?

One is named after a place where it wasn’t invented and the other is named after a person that didn’t invent it.

Obvious Man obviously is primed to overreact at even a hint of anything political. He can go from calm to extreme is a half sentence.

The patty-melt I grew up with was two burgers served open face on a bun under a scoop of chili-beans and with plenty of chopped raw onion. Eat with a fork. The same place made a cheeseburger that was one burger IN a toasted bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato optional onion served with thousand island dressing. Eat with your hands.

The superhero has limited ability in acting as supper hero.

When Robert Kennedy Jr. is not acknowledged as a candidate by the Democrats…….I’m talking about Robert Kennedy Jr. here, something is so very wrong with the system. President John F. Kennedy’s nephew!!!!….Bobby Kennedy’s son!!!!….and Biden won’t even allow him securiity protection. Are you kidding me? Biden is so corrupt it just amazing that he gets away with this crap. This suddenly reminded me of the time some work friends and I were having a Girls’ Breakfast Out one Saturday, as we did periodically. Some old man none of us knew came over and made a comment implying that we were a bunch of real estate agents whooping it up. (We all worked at a Navy aircraft overhaul facility.) We never did figure out what he thought he overheard to suggest we were selling houses. But go ahead and jump to conclusions, dude…

The funniest thing I noticed here was the boxer shorts. And yet, I think it’s an improvement over the women’s underwear most superheroes wear over their leotards.

As far as the choice in the election, this time you can compare 2016-2020 to 2021-2024. Study the economy, immigration, world events, crime, inflation in each term and choose how you want the next 4 years to be.

But, but I can’t vote for a Democrat! /s

so i am wondering as well- just what IS the difference between a cheeseburger and i patty melt?? (side bar- i DO know the difference but just trying to stay focused on their dilemma- such as it is. odd how a menu choice turned into a political rage of posts!) s/

Obviously needs to be better at listening. As we all should. Then maybe we wouldn’t be stuck between the lesser of two mediocrities. Be it lunch or anything else.

How about a sloppy joe? Great way to get rid of some stale hamburger buns and leftover spaghetti sauce.

Toasted vs not. Grilled onions vs. optional. Swiss vs Amurrican.

The Party Melt is far superior to the common cheeseburger. The the bread, grilled onion and Swiss cheese are perfection.

in answer to the question ..a patty melt is so different from a hamburger… A cheeseburger on a bun is without compare.. A cheeseburger on bread is a totally different experience.. especially in The Bite. And a pattymelt is totally different… you make a grilled swiss cheese sandwich on rye, carmelize some onions, fry a burger and put the burger and the carmelized onions inside the grilled cheese. Way way different.

The cheese and condiments matter too, don’t know about you but I wants my sauerkraut on my patty melt.
