Whether allegorical or not, apparently humans chose to understand the difference between good and evil (I sometimes wonder if it’s just an allusion to evolving).
The only way to do know that difference is to experience evil.
I don’t think I’ll “get it” while in this body and find some comfort in my faith that says there’s another incarnation coming.
And instead of being a blind man describing the elephant,
hopefully, with sufficient gray matter (or the equivalent) to see the big picture
I saw a documentary stating that Neanderthals lasted about 500,000 years. They were more advanced than normally thought but they obviously were not very warlike till modern humans decided to get rid of them.
It is possible that the Almighty is actually gender-neutral or nonbinary. In Exodus 3:13-15, Moses asks the name of God and is told “Yahweh,” [or English translation, “I am”]. The term “Yahweh” is a combination of both female and male grammatical endings. The first part of God’s name in Hebrew, “Yah,” is feminine, and the last part, “weh,” is masculine.
“Asherah” was the name of God’s wife and Robert Graves believed she had a prominent place inside the Ark of the Covenant. She was not entirely edited out of the Old Testament. >

Just because you can do anything, does not mean you can do it well or intelligently.

For some reason this gag has me thinking that God’s parents must have been so happy with how He turned out. He is such a high achiever.
