2021: Post-accuracy

the first thing that came to my mind after reading todays strip is that it was a perfect description of fox Opinion and Propaganda Network

Speaking of accuracy, USAToday had to issue and apology for their “Fact Checker” falsely claiming that Biden only looked at his watch AFTER all the caskets were unloaded, thereby directly contradicting what the families and other witnesses saw. USAToday has said “We’re sorry”, but then said the claim is “missing context”. Videos clearly show him looking at his watch .. multiple times WHILE the caskets were unloaded. A blind person could see the truth.

The writer of the False “Fact Check” apologized but then kept going and inflamed people again. Liberals can’t defend Biden so they are trying to figure a way to “Blame Trump” somehow, someway. I am confident they will do it, no matter what. Some are still denying it as it wasn’t on their news media. Shame people can’t look at various media to put the whole truth together. All media has their biases.

Wow! It didn’t take long for that to degenerate into a stupid, ignorant,political rant. This is a comics page folks.

That’s today’s media in a nutshell. And I can tell by today’s comments that they’re being very successful at dividing us. You people are ALL fools regardless of which media you follow!

Being honest and owning up isn’t one of Rat’s character traits.

Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.

Interesting how Pastis is supporting Trump. First he has Rat playing Biden get overthrown by a military coup and now he explains how the Leftist media constantly disparaged President Trump.

And thus ends Rat’s time at President. I liked that storyline.

So, President Rat has been ousted by a military coup. Who replaced him, Vice President Rat or someone the military installed? Inquiring minds want to know.

Once a (now former) priest told me that in Confession, the most common “sins” confessed are dirty thoughts by men, and gossiping by women.

That’s how gossip works. It’s a more dangerous virus than anything found in nature…..

I follow the advice I was given when I was young: NEVER repeat gossip…make sure people hear it the FIRST time!!

Modern news shows don’t have to lie; just omit any mention of an event which makes their preferred ideology/political candidate look bad. Most shows no longer report all the news, they curate it.

Another perfectly good story ruined with facts.

The irony is the same people who claim accuracy matters will go on and on about “Trump said to drink bleach” which never happened, it’s a good example of what Rat is doing here. But they repeat it because they want to believe the lie, which is worse.

I agree with poor Goat; living in a world where social media and the news are all gossip and no accuracy sucks.

Wow, they actually printed what I hear every time I talk with my octogenarian sister-in-law.
