I know Mondays suck, but the least Rat could do is make them SLIGHTLY more enjoyable.

I knew it was Monday when the nearby Army base blew “Reveille” twice.

My ringtone is something starts and stays semi-loud and noticeable but isn’t jarring. I went with the Who’s opening to Baba OReily.

Rat’s ploy did get you up and out of bed, Pig….

Reminds me of an occasion in my teens when I fell asleep with the radio on. I woke up to the opening bars of Elton John’s Funeral for a Friend.

“Enter Sandman” or a remake of “Whiskey in a Jar” are the Metalllica songs.

If you really want to be devious set it to Battery from Master of Puppets. It goes from an acoustic 1 to thrash 11 real fast!

All kidding aside, if you want to be gently woken up, get the alarm clock I have which has a light that slowly increases in intensity over several minutes before your set time. Then at the set time, soft music starts playing.

It is way better than any alarm that suddenly starts playing at a set time.
