I didn’t get it, so I had to look it up online. For the others who also didn’t get it, here’s what I found:
Essentially internet horror stories or a myth passed around other sites, to frighten readers and viewers. The word, “Creepypasta” comes from the term, " copypasta ". An internet slang term for a block of text that gets copied and pasted from website to website. Creepypastas are sometimes are supplemented with pictures, audio or video footage related to the story. Typically with gory, distorted or, otherwise, shocking content.
I have sometimes intense nightmares (more so this year…wonder why…) and my remedy for them is to get up and check on the cats. If they’re not scared, it wasn’t real.
If something scared me, I found that hugging my sweet Whiskers boy always made me calmer! I do so miss him even though it’s been 4 years since he went to the Rainbow Bridge…
I just finished listening to some annoying Reddit stories about obnoxious people. That’s why I come to GoComics and my favorite cartoons before bed. It’s a much happier night ender.
[ And if anybody has a link to that song, please paste it. I’ve been looking for it for a long time. I know some of the words, but so far, several intensive internet searches haven’t brought it up. One of the Boston college stations used to play it for the “Playground” – their kid themed show on weekend afternoons (now moved to way too early Saturday mornings).]
We Pastafarians take umbrage over the slurring of our religion! Creepypasta is yet another glaring example of religious intolerance! Can’t we all just get along?
In the early 1970’s, Jack Palance starred in a film version of Dracula. Since he was most known for playing gangster-type bad guys, it was a departure for him. He was also just about the opposite physical type from your usual Dracula. Nevertheless, it was the totally creepiest Dracula I’ve ever seen and the only movie that actually gave me a bad night. To make it worse, I didn’t even have a cat!
Queen Catshepsut the Golden: Thomios, the Royal Procurers have obtained an abundance of cheese for your cooking pleasure.
Thomios: Wonderful! How did they find it?
Agnes-Ata, Alice-Ata, Ta-Natash, and Violet-Ifa: We’ll never tell!
Thomios: Nonetheless, I will prepare a meal fit for Royalty.
In the Royal Kitchen
Thomios: Puckmosis, I have promised to create an amazing dish with this cheese, but I am stuck looking for inspiration.
Puckmosis: I think I can help. Here’s a papyrus scroll from a friend of Burt’s from Afar, Garfield of the Naps. He has a favorite dish that calls for a lot of cheese.
Thomios: This is just the thing. And it just so happens I have all the ingredients right here in the Royal Pantry.
At the Royal Dinner Table
The Queen: What a lovely feast! And what is the name of this delectable new dish?
Thomios: It is called Lasagna, Your Majesty.
Beatrixia: It is so delicious, I wonder how many calories it has.
Elvis-Anum: Now that is a truly terrifying thought!
The woman is probably reading the I’m Sorry Jon cartoons, a bunch of fan-made drawings of horrifying versions of Garfield, mostly attacking Jon. Read all about it here. Warning: they are terrifying.
Giant in-your-face, sitting on the bed Toe Beans!! (GiyFSotBTB) Yup, Scaeva, I said it :) ( now to scroll back through the comments and see who beat me to it).
“Such an event occurs when a star passes too close to a black hole, allowing the extreme gravity of the black hole to shred the unfortunate passerby in a process known as “spaghettification” — called such because the resulting pieces of stellar matter are stretched into long, relatively thin strands.”
OT … I have just learned this morning that Skipper the Elf will be back on November 21! It will be slightly different this year … no contact, so no sitting on Santa’s lap, but I’ll be helping to keep the Starbucks at the mall in business again.
OT: Someone a few days ago? was worried about their cat? having all the teeth pulled for dental reasons, and I just wanted to say that my recent adoptee NightFury (who is totally toothless) has no problem with her kibble, which she loves. It’s possible she swallows them whole, but she seems to be thriving in any case.
Also, she does have very hard gums and is known to BiteBiteBite. Sometimes I say OwOwOw, and won’t take her empty dish to refill till she stops biting. Usually two BiteBiteBites and then she lets me take the dish on the third attempt.
As anyone who lets their time get away from them on the Internet will tell you, there are things seen there, which cannot be unseen; things which are read, that cannot be un-read. You can throw away a creepy book; you cannot throw away the Internet. Don’t go there. You may never be able to get all the way back.

Silly Saying Day —"Don’t be stupid. It might make you famous." "Be carefull when following the masses—the “m” is usually silent." “Therapy is expensive. Popping bubble wrap isn’t.” “If you are too open minded, your brains will fall out.”
International Face Your Fears Day —Apropos of today’s strip. So your pasta has heard the call of Chthulu? Well, you can either live in fear, or simply live. It may well be that Chthulu is nothing more than tako sushi waiting to happen …

Creepy pasta can easily become a monster living behind the mayonnaise, next to the ketchup, and to the left of the cole slaw! Mwhahahahaha! And suddenly you find yourself in another one of “Garfield’s Tales of Scary Stuff!” https://youtu.be/1I3pqOp-tNk
I just hope that the woman don’t get to the nefarious noodles of the internet. (don’t ask me what that means I made it up, anyone want to say what it could mean?)
