Well, Bea tried to talk her out of it (technically).

Destiny IS right next door, and Princess Magazine isn’t the sort of girl to wait for it to come a knockin’! Bea so wanted to be good and keep her there, but she just has to go adventuring too.

Lighter, yes. Less unwieldy? Still no. I’d be more worried about them tripping over the moles and dropping it on their heads by accident than deploying it. Although I’m sure a frothy fountain of fire foam is in our future.

So many toebeans!

I doubt that an empty cardboard oatmeal container will provide sufficient protection. Unless her opponents laugh themselves silly over it.

Magazine and Beatric together! Montgomery and Wicket don’t stand a chance.

Yesterday (Friday the 29th) was Tucker’s 16th Gotcha Day. I’m so glad to have my little BFF still with me. Maybe with some love and luck, we can make it to another one.

Well is anyone surprised??? The only thing I wasn’t ready for is Bea’s “armor” – LOL

We can see now that the container from yesterday is an oatmeal container. Still not totally sure what the purple thing is, but Bea is using as part of her attire.

They are both doomed.

Maybe Burt will arrive just in the nick of time to save these two. Or, at the least, offer some adult supervision! I can also see the story arc going 2 directions: the battle royale with Queen Mags against the moles, and once the dust settles … Princess Mags and Bea are no where to be found! Although I’m not sure even Wicket the Wicked could manage to keep the dynamic duo hostage without having a few more feathers turn white!

Bea putting on armor is so cute. She also didn’t take much convincing to join the fray.

When Destiny calls, can a future Queen just stand by and do nothing?

OT: Yesterday my sister asked me, “So, is there some secret way to expand all of the compressed comments so that I can search the whole page for something I want to come back to? Or to find if my sister went back and commented later? I don’t mind (too much) doing it the first time, but I really hate having to do it again.”

I replied, “You should ask this in an OT comment, because SOMEONE in the commentariat will answer this.”

My sister then said, “I don’t have (or really want) a Go Comics account, so my understanding is that I can’t comment.”

I won’t attempt to defend my baby sister’s lack of BCN commenting account, but I think she wants to know if there’s a way to open all the nested replies at once. (I’m pretty sure she knows how to open all the outside-the-nested comments.) Anyone?

I have to say I’ve been enjoying this for about a year. I’ve gone back to see earlier work and fell in love. A month ago I had to have a laminectomy. Couldn’t get to computer or phone for a month. As soon as husband aka keeper, let me ambulate out of our room, I slowly led my walker to the computer and pulled up this strip then went back to see the action. I just love this soooo much. All the characters, the bravery, the ‘clothing’, the shields! Magnifique! Now, every morning my husband helps me and I head the walker to the computer as he says things like, “You’re really enjoying Facebook.” Little does he know I’m an observer to WAR!!! Georgia, THANK YOU!

Now kits. Does no tries this at home school or anywhere elses.

Owl just says bewares of wickedt birds out there and stops trying this tomsfoolerying.
