Since when is Calvin concerned about anyone’s safety? Especially his own?

Hobbes is much wiser. But perhaps not so exciting!

For a stuffed animal, Hobbes is pretty smart.

When I was MUCH younger, I remember sledding down a very steep hill and going up over the next, then down again and ending up in a pine tree! A pillow (or helmet) would have made it much safer.

Why of course you no gets hurt if you no see what is coming up ahead.

This is a breath of fresh air given the fact that it’s really hard to make an apolitical pillow joke these days.

This reminds me of Zaphod Beetlebrox’ Anti-Peril Sunglasses, which turned completely opaque at the first hint of danger.

I really Love Hobbes. Level headed he is!

Nowadays (being in my 40s) the pillow would work better to cushion my posterior from hemorrhoids and hurting the coccyx (tailbone). I have to, especially after a bad slip & fall I experienced in March 2017. I ended up fracturing my tailbone and T-12 vertebrae. It kept me off work for a month, plus physical therapy and Norcos.

How can you not love this comic strip…always a chuckle,but more often a belly laugh
