I’d like Jill to meet Jeffry….But I wonder what her relationship is like with stable flies and deer flies….There are a lot worse bugs than mosquitoes…Trust me….

Someone put WAYYYY too much sugar in that girl’s cereal…That, or she’s been sampling some of the forest’s “magic mushrooms”…

Just sitting here wondering how long it’s going to be before someone asks Jill about the Zika virus….

This extended theme, as with an actual person with that much undirected energy, begins to wear on a person. Time to move on.

Your Leftist politics are increasingly bleeding through in your comics. “And anyone carrying a gun”; does this include thousands of cops at any given moment? Rosie O’Donnell and Hillary Clinton’s bodyguards??

Millions of safe and legal CCWs around the country, myself included?

Thousands of hunters who not only keep animal populations from exploding but contribute MILLIONS of dollars to Federal conservation efforts around the country???

I love your comics and sense of humor, Wiley; your Leftist politics not so much…

I’m a big Wiley fan and usually love the strips, but I have to agree with those who were jarred by the over-generalization “AND anyone carrying gun” [emphasis added] line. There are many who carry a gun (for a variety of reasons) who do not belong in the “evil, corrupt, nasty” classification..I like Wiley’s stuff enough that I can write this off as a too-hasty comment that I’m sure he’ll think better of, especially the next time a law enforcement officer goes into the woods to search for a lost child..And perhaps he’ll rethink the whole “quickly dispatch people I don’t like” theme……. “I don’t like violence, so I’ll kill those who are violent” is not a credible position.

After spending over a half century in natural resource management, the line on “I want to build a house there”, is typical of those who move into “the woods” for the nature and peace, and quickly destroy it, and all the habitat and wildlife, with guns or not, so they can put up towers and get better internet reception, as Danae indicates; “progress”.

For those grousing about “hoplophobes,” look at it from the point of view of a woods nymph. If you come into her world carrying a gun, you’re probably bad news. Because they’re either a hunter out to take down some of your woodland friends, or they’re forest nymph exterminators who got a tip.

Wouldn’t mind seeing a few folks totin automatic weapons…especially those walking back and forth in front of schools….hauled off by a cloud of mosquitos. Karma is such a pain.
