“Two dresses, both unnecessary” reminds me of “Two houses, both alike in dignity” or “Two ships, two directions. Sounds like providence” :-)

I love the tiny coffee cup that the mouse has. The two versions of the Star of Second Chances is inspired!

Can someone explain to me why the little kitten is whispering ‘one dress’ in the second panel? I don’t get it.

Hey, “snarkm”; it’s because one dress just doesn’t do it for the modern trendy bride. Gotta have two, ceremony & reception. Gotta out-do everyone with the dress, so have TWO & be a stunningly dressed Bridezilla.

Like the little Home Improvement nod in panel six.

I wonder if Aunt Paisley is the “mental patient/cool girl locked in the jail cell” by Dr. Mittens . . . she didn’t say she was quoting anyone when she said, “. . in search of hope for centuries.” Oh my!

I’m thinking that Aunt Paisley means the two dresses are unnecessary because since Aurora shouldn’t marry tonight, she doesn’t need a wedding dress and since Captain Nimble is not dead, Princess doesn’t need to wear morning. #ourixlivesfan

“The star of second chances”, the same star that led the kings to the birthplace of Christ 2000 years ago +/-! Too bad we mortals keep letting our second chances pass by us!MERRY CHRISTMAS Georgia (woman), man, toddler, baby & the three boys & the rest of the cast!!

Yesterday the little kitten asked quietly whether Angora and Princess were actually wearing the same dress. They were, one was just white and the other black. So that’s why she said one dress today.

Well, I know I am loving it, and am thrilled to have anything by Georgia. She doesn’t the long story lines from time to time, and I think this is the third Christmas special. Just look at the expression on Elvis-priceless. That doctor mittens should lose his license.

Also, romantic intrigue…will we see a wedding of Paisley and Bandit ? Maybe a double wedding with Angora and that dreamy Kit Chase ?

No worries. I know that right will prevail…But maybe not until some cool car chases.

So beautifully done, Georgia – thank you for this! (Really, really, love that Sweetheart is so fixated on the wedding dress and mourning dress being The Same Dress, and everyone just tuning her out, hilarious!)

Thank you, Georgia, this is wonderful. The Star of Second Chances makes me think of “The Fourth Wiseman” by Henry Van Dyke. We will read again for Christmas.

Why isn’t Lupin watching?

I wonder if Lupin isn’t watching because, being deaf, he can’t enjoy tv. Or maybe he’s part of the scene but just out of sight.

I love this story line! " Our IX Lives" is the only soap opera I watch! >^..^< (And I love the robber mouse with the little coffee cup)
