The wedding storyline has bled over into the Sunday strips.

Its nice to see Tiffany and Crystal as the Sunday foible break. Once the strip gets past the wedding I hope we get to see them more, in other arcs, such as Crystal and Knute as a couple in some developed situation, and Tiffany in other arcs as well. I like the way Crystal acts as a check against Tiffany’s more selfish instincts; its part of my argument that this strip likes to use opposites in relationships, the point being that they gradually benefit each other. In spite of Crystal pithy responses to TIffany’s daffiness, or selfishness, they are loyal friends, and I think it has had a positive effect on Tiffany. One question I have always had though is what does Crystal get out of the relationship? She does seem to like opposites, again I cite Knute. Just my thought while still awake.

Hey, Crystal lives! And shes not attached at the hips with Knute. We need more Crystal in this strip.

@IamJayBluEI thought a Freudian slip was when you say one thing and mean your mother.

I’d forgotten how utterly gorgeous Crystal is! Please can we see more of her?

the old Tiffany wouldn’t have corrected herself. That she realizes what she said is insensitive and corrected it shows growth ( even if she still wants the gifts!).

Add Rosa to this mix, and you’s have a spinoff cartoon that would make everyone forget about Luann. By the way, I think Gunther would like that little pink number on Tiff.

I guess Tiffany doesn’t realize that the more guests, the more it COSTS.

In re: Yesterday’s strip, I got a bit of a chill over it, to be honest. Long ago, Greg advised us to “expect some drama and trauma” in re: the wedding. It’s just a little ominous that the Capt. has both Brad & Toni working together on an assignment like this. Normally, they would not be allowed to work together on the same shift/team.

Don’t mean to be a “Debbie Downer” but I truly hope that Brad & Toni complete their assignments without any “issues.” It would be a cruel joke to have something happen to one or both of them at this point. And, given that “stuff happens” just before major events in the Luanniverse (witness the car problems and injuries prior to the HS Prom), I just hope Greg keeps it on the straight & narrow.

Try that little number on,Tiff.

Ah well, Tiffany is a work in progress.

I have not noticed ANYONE being formally invited yet.

General comment (ie for all rather than for Any Face): while it is fun for each of us when we are right, there is no harm in being wrong at times either and just accepting it. We each are only humans so we each make our shares of errors in life. Overvaluing being correct or overly-dreading being wrong (sometimes instead of just learning from it) can be harmful to the self.

I am SO looking forward to the two parallel arcs leading up to the weddng! Let’s see: if Nov. 21-27 is BAT prep, then Nov 28 – Dec 4 will be fire fight and Dec 5-11 will return to BAT prep. Eh?

Doing that repetition is boring and valueless. Not the present story. It is very big so it isn’t going away for some time.
