Now I wonder “Who” that could be at the front door?
1) Frank and Nancy arrived too early? Nah, too easy. Besides that sort of thing was done during the “Gulag Arc” this past November.
2) The Pitts City Building Code inspector and She’s NOT happy?
3) Jonah here to PICK UP Shannon? Nope. Besides, Our hearts couldn’t take the “Shock.”
4) Tiffany, pulling another one of her “Two Dates in one night” stunts, only she’s so distraught over having to spend the Holiday with Ann Eiffel that she showed up early at the WRONG house?
5) Elwood Druitt, Candidate for Mayor of the Town Pitts, “Come heayah to ax’ fo’ yo’ vote in November?”
Sorry, but adding a room entails more than what is mentioned here. First, you have to have approval by the city that you can add a room (building codes and inspections). Parent approval would be the least of their concerns. Also, they couldn’t do it legally without the owner’s knowledge.
Parents came early, ah the surprises of a young couple. I always have a maybe, but its Frank and Nancy. Lets see, first of all, if they mind about the remodel. My bet is no, but something else will happen.
My money’s on that Jonah is at the door. With a new wife. They want Shannon. ( All that work for naught). BUT….maybe this will segue into a custody fight for Shannon? I don’t imagine Shannon being written out of the strip…right?
Rinse the soap off your face, Toni, while Brad puts on a clean shirt. Only then answer the doorbell. Whoever it is—especially if it’s Frank and Nancy—can wait a few short moments while you two compose yourselves….

I’m guessing it’s someone else. Otherwise, parents knocking at their own house would be just a consideration or warning to an embarrassing situation.
