Hi everyone, Shaunn’s Sis here. I read all the comments from yesterday and appreciate all the suggestions. Unfortunately, the lady passed away late Tuesday. She had been in the hospital/transitional care for a couple of weeks and decided to stop dialysis a few days ago. I have not been able to get in touch with her sisters to discuss kitty, but will keep trying. My Pastor is our go between, and I don’t know anything about kitty (name, age or sex). So paw power to all of us that we do what is best for kitty!

“I saw that kitten. I left it alone; there is a scary ghost lady back at The Big Pink House I would rather not tangle with. Are you heading back home?”

I had to go to the doctor this morning, and when I opened my front door, Sooti’s almost twin was on my porch. The kitty moved over to the edge of the porch and looked at me. It seems to me that the kitty wants to come inside, but is too scared. I noticed that the dish I put food in was empty, and went get more to put in it.

When I stepped outside with the food, the cat ran across my yard and stopped beside my neighbor’s home. Then, when I got in my car, came and stood by my shed and watched me leave.

When I got home, some of the food had been eaten, but the kitty was nowhere to be seen. It’s raining today, so at least it’s not so cold as it has been. This winter has been colder than normal for this area.

I would add one more thing to what The Woman said – “Call us as soon as you get home!” (So we know you’re safe.)

Today is the anniversary of our black cat’s arrival at our home. Valentine’s day 5 years ago was cold and icy.. Hubby left for work and found a tiny, warm black kitten on our porch furniture. Someone Cleary knew hubby would leave at that time, so they left this kitten boy for us to find. I must confess we now check the front porch every Valentine morning, hoping for another miracle. Female, please.
