“Just Friends” always reminds me of the “Our Gang Comedies” (Little Rascals), where Tommy (Butch) sang a version of the (then popular) song “Just Friends”. See it here: https://youtu.be/4zM39UgXjP4
In a day when Facebook ‘friends’ is supposed to mean ‘everything’, we see the truth when we see ‘just’ be friends. We can have friends or we can have some real friends… I don’t want a friend, I want a real friend. A ‘real’ friend is hard to find these days!
What gets me is when someone says, “let’s just be friends” and you’re willing to accept that to be around them because you enjoy being with them, and what they really mean is “I dislike you” or “go away and leave me alone”. Just say “Frankly, I don’t find you the least bit interesting, and I don’t care if I never see you again.”
There is a worse one. “I love you like a brother.” A woman’s feelings for a friend are always susceptible to change but she can never be romantically or sexually available to a brother.
All women named Jane will now sue Hart, as he has labeled them as The Fat Broad. All women named Grace will have inflated egos. The cartoon formally know as B.C. will now be referred to as P.C. As for me I say Goodby.

“Grace” I was just reading that the two females will be renamed now, to be politically correct. It won’t seem the same, & I think kind of silly.

The FB had more of everything in more ways than one, and if he won her heart her visage would become radiant and sweet.

There’s no evidence that he was ONLY looking to score. And she is just being honest. Sometimes the chemistry just isn’t there.
