yes she is and i can’t say that i blame her, i mean let’s face it when is the last time they did have a meal together when the wicked witch of the west wasn’t there?

Seems this whole week’s theme will be “But I have plans”

She is so looking forward to her upcoming Thanksgiving dinner with her dad that I feel bad for her. We all know it is so gonna be a disaster named Ann.

I wonder if the plan is to stand dad up to let him know how mad she is.

Betting AE has plans too…

Holy Smoke. Someone here CALLED this. That Tiff would be getting multiple Thanksgiving invitations from several different sources.

First Les, then Nancy, and now Bern and Dez. Who’s left to issue an invite?

And since tomorrow IS Thanksgiving, DOES Tiff actually have Thanksgiving with her dad without Eiffel showing up?

1) And does Dad has good news? That he and Ann have broken up?

2) Will Tiffany get an unwelcomed phone call as she heads out?

3) Will Ann Eiffel show up at Tiffany’s the dorm?

4) Will Ann’s “plans” conveniently fall thru, so that she shows up in time to RUIN dinner?

5) Or is this a bit of G&K misdirection? And a pleasant surprise is in store for all of Us tomorrow, on this day of Thanksgiving?

No way I’d bet good money on which way this thing will go.

It’s heartwarming that so many people have offered to host Tiffany, forgiving her past as a mean girl, and sensitive to the fact that she’s been estranged from her father of late and might need an alternative to going home for Thanksgiving. May this spirit spread from the comic to real life!

So happy. So hopeful. Just the way Ann likes to get them…

Wow, they’re really telegraphing the hell out of this plot twist, aren’t they? I mean is there any reader out there who doesn’t think these plans are now going to fall through at the last minute?

Either that or Evans was just completely out of ideas for this week and just decided to throw in as much padding as possible.

She walks in into a empty apartment.

Im expecting dad to blow her off again and he will say I have plans lol

Dad will tell her he and Ann are getting married.

It’s nice to see her happy and positive the last few days with, "I have plans,’ here’s hoping that her plans don’t fall through with her spending the day alone despite the many many invitations.

Why do I get the feeling someone we do not like will be crashing Tiff’s “plans”.

Oh dear God, I have such a horrible feeling of foreboding.

This could be a fake out. Because G&K pre-conditioned us readers with Tiffany’s previous arc, we have expectations of something bad happening now. However, events could go as planned and Tiffany has her Thanksgiving dinner with her dad without issues. Then again, if the Evans wanted to drop a memorable bombshell moment in the strip, doing it coinciding with a major holiday would be perfect timing. This setup is ripening up for that possibility, too. “But I have plans” have been uttered right before tragedy strikes changing to “But we had plans” in the aftermath.

This is one of those things where I’m expecting the worst, but hoping for the best.

Well, we are coming to the point where we will finally see culmination of these “plans.”

I feel like this whole week is leading to a huge let down for Tiffany.

I sure hope this doesn’t blow up in her face.

The way this is trending, something horrible is going to happen to her plans.

The most obvious wrench would be a phone call from her father that starts “Ann’s plans fell through so she’ll be joining us”. Or even “Ann’s having some difficulties so she wants a holiday dinner with just the two of us, sorry.”

GnK are really building up to something.

The foreboding here is palpable.

Annnnnnnnnnnd… the plot advances at break-neck speed.

I wonder what part of Tom we will see tomorrow. Will it be the back of his head like usual? Or maybe his left shoulder and arm?

Maybe Tom won’t show at all. Perhaps Ann will have some “emergency” that he has to attend to.

Why can’t I shake the feeling that Tiffany’s “plans” are not going to end well for her?

Seriously… considering how her life is turning out perhaps she has a “Final Plan”.

Just as overtherainbow called it. Don’t worry Tiffany, after Ann Eiffel cleans your father out he’ll be all yours.

Wait, is Tiffany still in her private room? Didn’t she move into the tiny, cheaper double room? Her pride will ruin her. And the feeling that her plan will be smashed by something (or someone) increase more and more. On the other hand, is good to see Bernice makes something good for others.

Tiff has plans. She is going to hate it when those plans don’t come together (Hannibal reference).

I get the feeling Tiff is going to be hurt soon.

I think the look on Tiffany’s face says it all. She is absolutely THRILLED to be having her daddy all to herself for Thanksgiving. It will be all the worse when it all comes crashing down.

Tiffany is daddy’s little girl. She just wants to spend the holidays with her father.

PLEEEAAASE let her not be spoiling for a BIG fall. I know it’s just a comic strip, but still.

Okay. One final “Wildcard” scenario.

Tomorrow’s Strip, may not have anything to do with Tiffany or her Dad at all.

It’s a Thanksgiving day greeting card from Greg and Karen to all of Us.

We may be kept in suspense for another day or two.

(And yeah. I’ll be staying up late tonight to confirm)

I fear Tiff’s dad is going to crush her plans at the very last minute – probably because Ann tells him to take her for an extravagant vacation.

Seen far too many chick flicks to like where this seems to be going.

After reading her “I’ve got plans” I’ve got a bad feeling the plans she’s counting on won’t happen. And a thought just occurred – would her father tell her he and Ann are getting married?

This is building up to a really big heartbreak for Tiffany.

Putting things in their proper order of importance: Thanksgiving in the US is always the day before Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year.

I was wondering how they were going to stretch out this storyline

Tiffany is all set to give her side of the Ann story and then her dad will reveal that they’re getting married.

So much emphasis on those plans means things are going to end badly. Like her dad and Ann have decided to go to Vegas to spend her inheritance.

if her luck holds tomorrow she will get a soul crushing cancelation from dad.

yeah, all the build up here, Dinner with daddy is going to go VERY bad… I wonder if this is also intended to be a “confidence builder” for her so that when it does go bad she has the courage to stand up for herself.

Her hopes will be dashed – then, there will be a “happy issuance out of all her afflictions”, as “Justice” finally catches up with Ann Evil. Meanwhile, Les will turn out to be a decent human being, as suggested by the “feline thread”..for this strip is, at bottom, a seething mass of optimism !

Something tells me Tiif’s plans will fall through.

Tiff’s “I have other plans.” response is now becoming cryptic in itself. I wonder if (just maybe) Tiffany has a hidden agenda for the meeting.

Sounds to me like everyone will know that Tiffany has plans and at the last minute, she won’t. And everyone else will.

I hope Greg will use Thanksgiving as a day to give Tiffany a really good day. That would be nice to see for a change. Life for Tiffany is getting pretty depressing in my opinion.

Why do I think that when Tiff shows up to her dad’s that Ann will be there and she’ll say she had a change of plans? Just like my ex-sister-in-law, you can’t trust a single thing she says.

I feel really bad that a daughter could be so happy just to have Thanksgiving dinner with her father, since when I grew up, that was standard and expected, every Thanksgiving.

Dept of Human Services has confessed that their greatest social issue today surrounds fatherlessness. Here’s a girl begging for her father to be in her life, but daddy has a trophy girl that is taking his eyes off the real prize. Tough summer and fall for Tiff, and I’m suspecting daddy is going to do it again and invite Miss Priss to join them. Hmm.

Tif’s hairdo reminds me of the one on the main character of the TV series, “Better than Us”.

At this point I’m starting to think Tiff’s plans might not turn off to be spending time with her dad but something else.

I signed in to say that after all this if Tiff gets screwed over by Eiffel I’m going to have to seriously consider whether I want to read this comic anymore.

What a bunch of bitchy and jaded people on the eve of Thanksgiving. Y’al should be politicians. Arguing about who has the oldest set of first storytellers. The “native americans” were the rest of the asians who came across to what is now Alaska and those who came up through what is now Mexico. No-one was ever that friendly though some were more live and let live when the land was plentiful.

True that Columbus was lost but did discover land that no doubt saved his life. It was a discovery for him just as a baby discovers a set of toes that others had seen earlier. Check out the Discovery Channel and when you discover something new, let me know if it had been unknown to all others.

This feels like a giant setup. Ann is going to crash the dinner and Tiffany is going to leave. She’ll either realize she has a new family in her friends, or cry in her dorm room.

I have such a bad feeling about this. And I swear, if G&K screw Tiff over again, I’ll quit reading this strip. A person can only take so much misery. If I want misery, I’ll read the news.
