Every time she starts to show some maturity, she ends up backsliding.

Y’all are getting it wrong. Tiffany knows her clothes. She bought fancy stuff on the cheap and she is going to sell it at that party!!

Millennials and/or Gen Zer’s are so lazy. “Late” instead of “Later”. REALLY?

The mall’s name indicates the intention Greg is communicating. Tiffany is Squandering her money!

There went the last of her money. Being popular drives strongly in Tiffany…still. Oh, Hair, WHY did you have to show up? Go away and stay hidden. Please, Bernice, come back and talk sense into her.

Ah, I was AFRAID of this.

See? Tiffany is already ”back sliding.” Instead of putting the rest of her money in the bank, she blew most of it buying clothes. All to impress the school quarterback. Here’s a tip, Tiffany. Most College Jocks have more that one gal on the side.

This is a disappointment. An expected disappointment, but a disappointment, nonetheless. I KNEW Tiff’s “progress” wouldn’t last. But maybe she’ll learn a little something from it. Like:

1) The value of a dollar.

2) Who her true friend’s truly are.

3) Deciding what’s important. Fun or Graduating.

One more thing. “Nice going” Hair, on “procuring” fresh “babes” on Kip’s behalf.

Someone else said it yesterday. Tiffany SHOULD have kicked this jerk out of her dorm room the moment he crossed her door sill.

Not called “squander mall” for nothin. Malls are historically known for selling over-priced merchandise. But given the sultry look on her face in the 3rd panel. I bet she’s got some really sexy clothes that she plans to advertise her backside and the girls. She’s gonna try to seduce her way back to her premium dorm.

Tiffany turning back into Paris all over again. oh well….. forever the celebutard, I guess.

I guess Greg still has some issues to work out concerning the cheerleaders who wouldn’t pay attention to him in high school.

Once again Tiff resorts to applying makeup and buying clothes to get ahead in life. Just like when she decided to enter the business world and went out first thing to buy a power suit.

She obviously is doing sometime that makes her feel good when she is stressed, spend money on clothes. Calling her names is mean and misses the point. She is coping, but this is not the way to cope. It like an drug addict getting a fix, only to come down hard after that fix wears off. It’s very sad.

Tiff, growing up is hard to do when you want to retreat.

An addendum to my previous comment. One of the bags reads Boss Lady. There is a line of clothing known as Lady Boss. I stand by my comment that she is going to resell those items!

Squander Mall. I remember it well. It was named after I.M. Squander who lost all his money paying for dorm room transfers at Mooney University.

I never thought I’d say this, but maybe Ann Eiffel was a good influence on Tiffany.

If she sold all her designer clothing on Ebay maybe she is buying a new wardrobe. You can get by with a good blazer, nice pair of black pants, a couple nice pair of shoes, a skirt and a few sweaters and shirts to mix and match. Oh and don’t forget a LBD.

For Tiff, glamor is like riding a bike, she never forgets how to use it. Just don’t be a victim, you may have to cut someone.

I’m betting Tiff is going to use these items to start up her own business teaching all the coeds how to apply make up, do hair and dress like a million bucks on a college girls allowance.

No Tiffany, focus on your goal!!!

I believed that, and have mentioned for the last two days, there was a disturbance in the force. Looks like Tiff is going back to her old ways. Just mention a party and a potential suitor, and she is off to the Squander Mall. In the last panel, she has the happiest look/biggest smile we have seen her with in a long time. Looks like she’s back in the groove, and all the progress she has made is about to go down the swirly hole.

How is she going to pay for all that?? By the way, Forever 21 filed for Chapter 11 last month!!

If she blew the last of it, she’s still on the schedule I predicted.

I don’t get it. Shopping is better than…?

Why are so many people wanting Tiff to turn into Bernice? Bernice is miserable and has no friends. Even people on this board don’t like her.

So disappointing.

Tiffany is all about business at the moment. When she heard Hair saying Kip wants to meet her, she figures either starting up a matchmaker/dating set up for the students, or everyone will want to know where she gets her clothes, and she will start up a “makeover” service. I am keeping faith for “new” Tiffany.

Observe the sequence of facial expressions. Desire, Realization, Determination.

Lets just hope the football star does not totally force himself on Tiff. Or assault.

Where is she going! Could it be to live with Les?

This is exactly what I hoped would never happen, but it’s understandable. She wants to be a diva again and sees an opportunity, so goodbye moneys. At this point I really hope that her roommate will be Bets, or at least someone who makes her think about the expenses.

Yesterday I wondered if Tiffany’s self evaluation, “I can handle bad boys,” would be tested in this new milieu. This gives all the appearances that she’s reverting to the dark side.

Did the room fee include cafeteria? How is she gonna eat?

Why have we not been privy to the consequences of her failing test grade? She must still be a student (not flunked out) because the school is allowing he to rent a dorm room.

She’s like an alcoholic falling off the wagon. Shopaholic – same thing.

Back in 2015 Tiff poured out her heart to Gunther about being lonely at Mooney U. Then crashed after with the Ann Eiffel stole her father. Is she reverting to that era and look to recapture her H.S “glory” days? Is that where GnK are taking us?

Or does this portend some momentous new life PLAN? And what might that be? She (GnK) said “no more pity party.”

Nice cliffhanger. Monday we’ll be somewhere else. Maybe a Christmas arc?

Well – she just squandered her money on clothes, makeup, accessories, to meet some partying jock. So sad.

Great! Now we have two new characters to contend with. Kip Lee “QB with the corner room” and Tiff’s new roomie. Or will they be the same? (I don’t think GnK will go there.)

Mordoc will probably be pleased in a way. Since that would cut Les out as her bbf – best boy friend. But will it? Even the Shadow doesn’t know!

Broke and about to flunk out… This is getting pathetic.

For the last couple weeks, Tiff has surprised us, staying home alone on the holiday, deciding she couldn’t afford the suite, negotiating the sale price of everything, paying the fee to move, staying with Bernice and Dez and finally moving into a shared room, and all independent decisions to better her situation and become a successful businesswoman. The bag from Boss Lady makes me believe she’s still on track. She has an assured look of a plan coming together. Just hope it doesn’t land her in hot water!

This is like lapsing on a diet. Sometimes you fall off the wagon. Forever 21, one of my favorite stores even though I am FAR FAR from 21, has cute and inexpensive stuff. Or what I buy is inexpensive. Okay, cheap.

Yo 46, Tiff just dropped most of her cash on the room change … looks more like a melancholy reminiscence of the life she just left behind.

Wow! Give the girl a break! She’s gone through a very depressing time what with having to sell all her old clothes, the disappointment over Thanksgiving, etc. Do you think the Tiffany of a few years ago would have a job, be paying her own way, moving into a cheaper room, starting business classes? I think buying new clothes means she’s moving forward and feeling better about herself.

Dang it Tiff! You were doing good with that one step forward part!

And to think I predicted a “soft landing” today.

I guess breakfast will be the eggs all over my face.

Didn’t take long for Tiffany to get distracted.

(sigh) One step forward, two steps back. This is blasphemy talking, but I’m starting to wonder if Anne might have had a point with Tiffany.

Tiffany looks smug. She must have a plan.

Tiffany is buying new things for herself today. She has no plan to sell things to make money. She does not think that far ahead. She is happy because she is spending money on herself. She is making poor decisions today and it is totally on her. She cannot blame anyone else for her poor choices today.

She represents a major problem in our society.

Party now, study later. That’s a phrase she lives by.

Next week Bwad thanks poor little Shannon’s Father for the great care he takes of her most of the time, for being a single father is not easy.

Oh, Tiffany…no. You’ve been doing so well. On the upside, she’s only got a couple of bags, so maybe she didn’t go overboard. She HAS sold most of her clothes, so unless she wants to walk around wearing the same thing every day, she DOES need something else to wear. Still…oh, Tiff. What ARE you doing?

This is the first story arc in which Tiffany is thinking about “romance” since her weight gain and rethinking of her body image/attractiveness/value in society. I appreciate that Greg and Karen are addressing this very real issue in a gentle, roundabout way. The shopping spree/Old Tiff behavior could just be a red herring.

Poor Tiffany. Poor little rich girl (in more than one sense)….

The “party” might be only the new guy – a setup by Hair. That could be the end of backsliding by Tiff – if she says “No Thanks” and becomes more determined to forge her way into a new life.

When will Greg issue drugs and sex? This is where the story is leading.

Okay, party girl, give it a shot, but don’t be surprised if “you can’t go home again.” Those days are gone, or should be because time and events are creating a new Tiffany. Let Hair enjoy himself and end up as a mall cop. Kip may well find his glory days end, as he settles for a dead end job coaching high school football.

I hope there is repercussions (and another learning lesson) for Tiffany’s actions today. Assuming the arc continues Monday, I hope someone in her circle points out to her that her high spending days are over. If not that, we know the smaller dimensions of her new dorm suite and soon Tiffany will realize that, too. She simply does not have the space to accommodate all her extravagances anymore.

This better not be one of those cases where we’ve been tormented by the thought that Tiff is actually starting to have a brain only to see it all flushed away for a party….but I won’t be surprised if that happens.

And Tiffany went and blew all her money at a mall…

Well, we didn’t expect her to wear the $500 power suit, did we?

Well, it looks like the Old Tiffany has returned. But at least she bought a variety of clothing. Last time she went shopping, she spent $500 on a black power suit. At least now, she bought more for her money.
