Wow won’t this be interesting. TJ works for Frank and Nancy . As a bar tender, Nancy’s boss will be TJ.

I figured that this was heading this direction. Now, all we need is a start date.

wow, love her facial expression in panel 3. bubbly, fun, and energetic, wide eyes. Certainly better than panel one where she looks beaten and depressed. With a cheery and bubbly attitude and a smile on her face, nancy looks as young as luann.

Nancy looks happy. That’s important.

That vest does fit her pretty good. But if she looked at her customers the way she’s looking at Frank in the third panel of this strip, it’s more than likely she’ll scare the customers away. Definitely a little too wide eyed for my liking…

The K2 vest fits well on Nancy. But I’m afraid this will end bad. But very, VERY bad. I still hope Pru will come back.

I think this is a very good development in general, but my desire to see what happens next almost trumps (generic verb, not personalized please folks) my excitement about what is now obvious. What next Greg, Jeez?

Far be it from me to point out that there is the teensiest bit more to being a Bar Tender than putting on a vest.

Might be handy having the owner be the bartender. If Anne Awful gives her attitude, she can dump the drink on her head without worrying about getting fired.

So now its going to be Fuse job interactions, Frank being annoying, Nancy learning to tend bar and weeks of middle age job angst? And how did they get a blonde child anyway? Maybe we can have Luann discover she’s adopted.

Nancy and Pru having the same vest size is bad news? Okay. Frank, you’re really out of it. Take a nap.

Nancy is a bit too happy over this job prospect.

I’d say Pru was a crummy event planner. She let Anne run that underwear scam out of The Fuse for months, and didn’t even charge her rent. She also let Leslie get away with stealing the money from that benefit show they held.

Maybe I’m missing something, and don’t get me wrong – But didn’t Frank and Nancy have an income issue? I think (and, yes, many called it) that she’s a great fit for The Fuze, but would they not be – in essence – paying for themselves for now? … The upside is that if Nancy can bring in more lucrative events to The Fuze, then they would make more money in the long run, yes?

That … and also, I know that Nancy would definitely give the likes of Ann Eiffel the real what-for, for sure! :)

The good news is that she doesn’t expect YOU to wear the vest, Frank.

The good (or bad) news is that Frank is cooking tonight.

A Mom and Pop business. Sounds okay to me. I stop at one every day…..mom, pop, daughter (working her way through college), older son, and the younger son. You get the chance to watch them all grow up, graduate from college, get married, have babies.

Don’t you have to have some kind of certification to be a bartender?

For a guy who was so worried about his “cuddle time” a few strips ago, Frank sure seems determined to make sure he doesn’t get any more of it for a while…

I was wondering why they don’t offer that job to Tiffany, or at least part of it. Wonder if that will happen?

Oh, no, Nancy. You can do better than bartend. Leave that to others. And you don’t want to deal with TJ on a daily basis.

the good news Frank (ya dumb ox) is that your wife is going to take the job herself.

Leave Frank alone, he is just teasing his HOT wife. Reminds my of how Gun(Ther) and Bets would be after they get married. And being able to tease your HOT wife is a good thing.

Um, seeing as it is their business, why doesn’t she just go to work there until something else comes along??

Get a clue, Frank. Nancy has already decided to hire herself. And I think she will do just fine, if not over-worked….
