Love the forest bed linens … It makes Pengo seem like he’s stuck in a deep crevasse … And, of course, Goldie looks like a giant sprawled across vast acres of woodland, and her tail seems miles long …

Yay! He’s been found! Kind of nice to have an in-house detective, isn’t it?

Baba-Stet: Nah, you could get there in a few hours with a really swift horse.

The Queen: Is Avenger back from his visit with Emma-Peelia yet?

Baba-Stet: Yeah. And I hear in Afar they’re planning a shower for her.

Tabith-Isis: Pengo is taking a shower as well. Those Red Dot-Sicles melt fast in the heat.

The Queen: When he is dry, let him rest in our coolest room. That would be the royal library.

Baba-Stet: One thing, Your Majesty. The Cosmos Nursery is guarded by a fierce dog.

The Queen: Whom should we send on this quest?

Baba-Stet: We need those who are brave and pure of heart!

The Queen: Then we will send Puckmosis and Beatrixia. Serfig-Aro, call for them if you please.

Puckmosis and Beatrixia: You sent for us, Your Majesty?

The Queen: I need you to go on a quest for our friend Pengo. I will require a long journey (well, kinda long, anyway). You may meet a fearsome dog as well.

Puckmosis: We will be delighted to do this for Pengo.

Beatrixia: What are we waiting for? Let’s go.

Hurray for Goldie!

Off Topic: Paul!

Paul’s doctor called yesterday. If he continues to tolerate Boost at the rate of 50ml/hr, he will be home by the end of the week. My sister-in-law, who’s a cleaner in the ER, was allowed to visit him yesterday, and did a video call so we could see each other. Paul needs a shave. He seemed in fairly good spirits. We haven’t mentioned yet that he may be able to come home, as we don’t want to get his hopes up. Sister-in-law is going to try to do a video call again today.

Keeping up the good thoughts & prayers from me & Silver – hoping he continues to improve!

Ahhhh! Save Pengo!

Reminds me of The Twilight Zone episode, Little Girl Lost. Father hears his daughter crying, can’t find her but of course it’s because she slipped into another dimension. Family dog rescues her. But why it reminds me is that according to The Twilight Zone Companion (by Zicree) is that the author of the episode said it was based on a true story. He heard his small daughter crying but couldn’t find her. Finally discovered she had done a Pengo, slipped between the bed and the wall!

Goldie missed her chance for a triumphant EUREKA!!.

Thank Cat! I was hardly able to sleep fretting about this! Happy Ending!

I hate to invoke the “MIss Marple syndrome” but isn’t it odd how mysteries have multiplied since Goldie came on board? Is it more than coincidence that Goldie knew where Pengu was?

How has no one mentioned Goldie toe beans!?! And her adorable pants with a place for her tail! Soooo cute!

Poor Pengo thought he was lost forever in the bed-wall crevasse – until Super Sleuth Goldie found him! Now the rescue mission to get him out!

I can attest to the fact that the spot between the bed and wall does pull in stuffed animals.

On the next episode of CAT 9-1-1, Lupin and his team perform a brave rescue then fight over who will drag Pengo to the Boy for a cuddle.

Goldie’s skirt is a miracle of technology with a snug yet apparently comfortable tail hole! I just hope it has pockets. So many nice skirts are ruined for me if they don’t have pockets!

I was expecting Opus.

Yay for Goldie, I guess, though it does make me think a little less of the woman and the man. Shouldn’t this have been the first place they looked?

Does anyone have a guess about Goldie’s long blue duster? Who Georgia may have modeled on or from?
