I was walking down the road one evening and noticed the root in front of me looked quite a bit like a snake. Just to be sure it wasn’t, I rolled it with my foot. Then the “root” coiled up and hissed at me. In my defense, the sun was down and it should have known the rules and left.
I walked around it to let it ponder its lapse in following snake etiquette properly.
