Comic Sans font… followed by blood dripping down the walls. Mystical drawings all across the floor. Brazers full of smelly herbs that by them-self could raise creatures of darkness and scary shadows. Do you really want to question the creature who has fangs longer than your arm… why such a childish font???

Some people really get their knickers in a twist over that font.

If I’m in a comic, I’ll take it pretty seriously.

The sign maker is probably slapping his forehead now and thinking “D#$%, I should have taken Indy Jones advice and written the curse in ancient hieroglyph sans!”

Perhaps fear would be evoked by Gothic or Old English.

I use comic sans all the time. I think it’s easiest to read. Do people not like it because of the name?

If you can’t tell a book by it’s cover, you definitely can’t tell content by it’s font.

I’m happy that I have the education and the eyesight to read anything.

That doesn’t look like Comic Sans.

The choice of fonts doesn’t really make a difference in the validity of the context.

Comic Sans looks fine in all caps, but childish in lower case.

The funny thing about Comic Sans is that it was, in part, developed for a high degree of readability when printed or displayed at different resolutions, sizes, spaces, etc. Times New Roman as a counter point is horrible to try and read below 10 point.
