“Particles of raw inspiration sleet through the universe all the time. Every once in a while one of them hits a receptive mind, which then invents DNA or the flute sonata form or a way of making light bulbs wear out in half the time. But most of them miss. Most people go through their lives without being hit by even one.” Wyrd Sisters, Terry Pratchett
Inspiration for two-three-and four-wheel uses whizzing right by. . .
It has been said that the wheel was invented during the Bronze Age, after the Neolithic (New Stone) Age when mankind stopped being nomadic hunters and gatherers and started forming communities. Mankind discovered bronze and similar metals and started creating metal versions of tools previously made of stone, then created new tools like the hand saw. It’s likely that the first wheels were potter’s wheels, then wheels for carts and so on.

Sometimes, what feels like a dead end has great potential.
I saw where some folks in the 1950s came up with a procedure to make what we know as graphene and do it relatively efficiently and cheaply.

As a fellow inventor – if I had peaked at the wheel, I would take that just fine.
