Wow, two double entendre today — “Banging you head” and “There’s got to be something that turns you on.” I mean aside from guys wearing tight pants over fully-packed buns. Ben may be waiting for some time before Bernice remembers she started out to see him.

Well, the double entendre shows Greg still has his hand in the Luannaverse.

Jack is not romantically turned on by Bernice, nor is he a mind reader. Bernice just wants a little action with no stings attached. Enter Nil, who likes Bernice and would happy to settle her stress problem in the back of Jack’s truck.

Jack seems to be clueless about potential relationships so far. However I’d love to see Bernice put a big move on him.

Yes, that is a great stress release, only with someone you care about. Otherwise it’s just gymnastics. Not sure what Bernese will or wont do here, but she needed to get control and relax.

With all this strips issues it’s still far, far better than Funky Winkerbean . That idiot strip spent a week on a story line about a sidewalk modification.

Be careful, there Jack. We don’t know yet if you’re destined for Bern or for Lu. We wouldn’t want to start a fight between the two. Also, I’m interested in seeing how the “brother” arc between bern and her returned brother will play out. Hopefully, we’ll see soon.

Bernice’s mind is off her problems (nice summary Jack. Didn’t add details like housing or anything like that but it does I hit the majors). The problem is will she take Jack suggestion the way she wants or something else will happen? Safe bet is something else (enter Ben so we get something of a resolution on that and push Bernice’s load till later). Jack continues to show he’s a good guy but honestly no real interest in Bernice. Doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen but my money is that won’t happen until there’s a talk about things with Luann (Jack being present is optional) or if Jack suddenly starts talking to Bernice about Luann again. Either way I’m not seeing a near term loosening of Bernice’s load in the sense many want.

Bernice think about sex? I doubt it.

The situation isn’t bad and Jack is nice but it’s been one week of repeating the same thing. This dialogue should have been covered in two days, three max.

Bernice’s next comment – as Ralph Kramden used to say: "hummina hummina hummina!!!

Especially the non sexual - look at his body language -- he’s referring to the whole world of interesting things. Go Jack! Who says jocks can’t have savvy & wisdom? He’s great with dogs, so he has a big heart! …. And, Go Greg! Love this!

Jack’s romantic proclivities have been (deliberately?) perplexing. Back in the day he was an aggressive girl pursuer. At the bowling venue Nil accused Jack of pursuing every girl he meets with a life goal of dating 18 girls at once. He was shown to be dating both Luann and Tiffany at the same time. Some time in 2018 he became every recurring female character’s best friend; “bestie” as he put it. Both Luann and Tiffany (in both her svelte and chubby personas) have been enamored of him. Jack was supposed to arrive at the camping venue with Tara but they didn’t show up. No one thought it strange at the time.

Ice Maiden, Bernice, on the other hand, fell big time for Piro and Zack and had her heart broken both times. So, we can pretty much see where this arc is headed.

The wild card here is Ben. How does his relationship, or lack thereof, affect this dynamic?

This is starting to be “R” rated…

“So I say let Bern “surprise kiss” Jack. The sooner that happens and startled Jack ask Bern “WTH is wrong with You??” the better. Then and only then, will Bernice will come to her senses, stop hem-hawing, and address her more immediate concern. FAMILY."

Brings us back to the other ‘S’ word…

I do like Jack’s attitude and common sense. But for Bernice, ignoring or replacing the problem won’t solve it, even though she might feel better. On the other hand, sometimes, if situations are left alone, they do resolve themselves.

As for this reoccurring, one-sided attraction Bern has for Jack……Is he going to realize Bernice is attracted to him and will she ever speak up? Will it be a “light bulb” moment or left to fizzle out and/or contribute to her stress?And with this “social distancing “, how can they ever get together? Lol! ;-))

Don’t do it, Berneice! Don’t jump him without his consent. He is a delicate soul, not just your plaything.

I’m suprised that this week didn’t end with the two of them in bed.
