Must be a cooking hole for some giant’s cooking pot. And it must be one of the 500 gal stewing pots. Still, if I were the giant, I wouldn’t use the King or Rodney for ingredients, one would be too bitter, the other too wimpy.

That horse’s legs are so skinny that I doubt it could pull that carriage.

And if the people had any sense, they would fill it in before The Fink gets out!

Rodney (I think that’s the character’s name?) and Fink must have been visiting Michigan.

Everywhere I’ve lived, roads (except for Interstates) were the responsibility of the local city or county. Funding came from many places, but the city/county had to ask for it and then get the work done…. funny how road money got shifted into more “worthy” areas…

It’s a karst.
