Nice to see them having fun together for once.

I don’t want to think about Luann have a but-guster…my dog gets those and it clears the room

Beavis and Butt-Guster-Head live!

For a moment, I thought she meant a butt-gusher.

Interesting to see the two back together for a Sunday shot. Also, no snark or anything else – just two almost sisters having a good time together.

Hope the weekday arc straightens things out between them.

(I haven’t given up hope on Bernice. Thankfully, today’s installment suggests that G&K don’t want us to, either)

And the moral of this Sunday story?

Or rather the subliminal hints being dropped by the Evans Crew?

Maybe just this:

No matter how many “secrets” these two keep from each other,

No matter how many times one snarks the other,

No matter how many muscle-bound males come and go in their lives,

No matter how many times one refers to the other as a “dummy.”

Like it or not, these two will FOREVER remain Friends.

And NO amount of misguided, well-intentioned, but ultimately FOOLISH “help” one gives to a questionable “new friend will,” ever come between them.

And that is THAT. ;)

Next year it will be the same thing, except they’ll be in a bar with half a snoot full, and not a soft drink in sight.

As I tried to convey Sateyday, They are BFFs. Always were. Always will be. (off and on) 8^ )

Aaannndd…..they’re off!

How many of us in the eighties cracked up saying “Boast gusters!”

Probably the same ones who in the sixties sang “Dare goo I woe, rollow the fivver, dare goo I woe, gollow the fulls”.

There’s maturity for ya.

I think they owe Jasonsnakelover a royalty.

That but guster blew all the blue off Luann’s can. (soda can)

When Mt Saint Helens erupted in Washington state, one of the local news readers said “The mountain is spewing incredible amounts of ass and gash”

I can’t remember when I stopped laughing!

I love strips like these. Bernice and Luann are two different personalities, but it’s a reminder at why they are best friends too.

Interesting contrast between the weekly story arc and the Sunday. In the week, the friendship between Luann and Bernice seems on the verge of the end (or, at least, a huge fight). Now, they seem more friends than ever. I love to see them having fun together like this ♡.

Notice that Greg has his characters wearing green a lot more than people do in real life?

It took me years, when I was a child, to understand what my older sister was saying when she yelled “Hide! Hide! The cow’s outside!!”Then again, I was only 4 or 5 when she first said it.

I wish all the Luann strips were stand alone, not the continuing story ones, that go on for weeks and weeks. Each strip should be one and done, kinda like Heathcliff, and several others

Don’t quit your day job. Oh, wait.

Luann (and, Bernice) Mature?

Bernice is likable today. Yay.

The only that can make me gut bust is something fully animated. I haven’t laughed in days.

Butt-gusters increase after chili for supper.

‘But Guster’ sounds like a bad case of flatulence.

Love it!

So much for maturity! Nothing reduces an adult into a child like a good verbal mashup!!!! This is a great cartoon today, celebrating Luann and Berniece and their long and enduring friendship.

Am I the only one who enjoyed Luann’s pun in the first frame?

Guy walks in to doctor’s office with a duck on his head! The doctor says, “What can I do for you?” The guy says nothing but the duck says, “Get this guy off my a- ss!”

Maybe the funniest things in life aren’t forced or contrived, but just come about organically. That was good, Mr. Evans.

The planet Uranus still cracks me up.

Made me laugh…..

Luann and Bernice will always be friends, and it would be a major strip upheaval and modification to use a more organizational type term if they actually broke up over the kerfuffle that is being drawn, brilliantly GnK I might add, now. I think there will be quite a strain put on the relationship but I have faith that it will work out in the end; hilarity will ensue. Nice break.

Silly is always welcome around here.

Once, while eating dinner in a restaurant, I wanted to order the crispy shrimp basket. What I said to the waitress was ‘crimpy $hit basket’. My family has never let me forget this.

Hang out with Ruthie from One Big Happy and you get to enjoy slips of the tongue and malapropisms almost every day. And she’s less annoying than Shannon.

I am so impressed by the Grown-Up Behavior of Luann and Bernie [laughs maniacally]….
