Now there’s a lawyer better off doing legal proceedings by Zoom with a cat filter.

Nah. The worst case scenario involves Wiley Bears that are fascinated by the idea of eating curled and moving finger.

You might end up “in contempt of court”.

Ever notice that lawyers always say – “Congratulations, we won,” but then say – “I’m sorry, you lost!!”

A doctor recently learned not to show up to Zoom traffic court while performing surgery. Besides, not impressing the judge, who was more concerned for the Doctor’s patient than continuing with the traffic case. I’m guessing the Doctor was looking to impress the judge that he was a surgeon. It not only backfired with the judge, it has the doctor being investigated by the medical board.

I expect that to happen with a lot of the rioters & insurrectionists from January 6.

That is one tiny courtroom, especially in pandemic time.

Looks suspiciously like someone who once said “I am not a crook”. Maybe those “V” signs were air quotes?

They should say " Sorry we lost"

Too many defense attorneys are amazingly quick to assure us that their client is innocent when in fact they have no basis of knowledge. Were they with the client at the time of the alleged incident? Of course not. And then the accused pleads guilty.

Radio performers do the air quotes with subtle pauses rather than doing the “it was this big” pantomine.

And, of course, today we have the report that one entire legislative branch has cancelled a meeting based on a ‘questionable’ threat. They allowed themselves to be intimidated from what is their national imperative to meet, discuss, and hopefully resolve the problems of their constituents.

If this situation occurs one more time, our legislative branch and we, the people, will have been effectively disenfranchised. The country will become a laughing stock in the world. President Biden will be presiding at a table of empty chairs.
