Earlier today (or was it yesterday), I couldn’t find my lap desk. I looked all over for it, without getting up from my chair, of course. I was just about to get up when I found it on my lap.
I went out to the shed to get a tool, and forgot what it was. I returned to the house and remembered, but when I returned to the shed, I found that I had locked the keys inside. My friend’s comment; Mission accomplished!
I always forgot to remember but then I remembered to forget, so I did forget to remember to forget but I always remembered to forget that I forgot to remember to forget!
I was told that technically speaking what he is holding is a turner (more specifically a slotted turner) instead of being a spatula. Practically speaking, I think practically everyone I know would call it a spatula.
My boss’s secretary handed him a ticket to Washington DC. A few hours later he called, “Why am I here?” He was responsible for a budget of tens of millions.
I seem to be in the midst of good company. I’ve taken to writing myself notes, which doesn’t help as well as it sounds. You have to remember to take the note with and remember that you have the note. It can be funny if you keep a good attitude.
I can walk into a room and do two or three things, leave and then remembered the reason I had gone to the room….which was not one of the things I had accomplished there.
I know that I needed something, and I remember where it was when I last saw it, but I can’t find it where I know I left it. It speaks to a need for organization.
Pearl, check the stove. Earl was making a grilled cheese sandwich, the phone rang, after he answered it, he realized it was time for ’’Let’s Make a Deal’’ and sat down to watch.
You want pathetic? Here’s pathetic….Sometimes I will be in the middle of saying something and by the middle of the sentence I can forget what I was saying and the rest of the sentence!!
