What’s so weird about a group email (assuming it goes through). The gag would’ve worked just as well if it were a botched email to Delta.

Problem is, Luann – you hit the send button that goes “Dink” instead of the one that goes “Dit”.. It makes a huge difference. The one you hit responds with “Donk”…

Oh just send Christmas Cards the old fashion way, Lu.

Puddles just realized that Luann is a Luddite.

That’s my constant battle with technology. And I lose every time. Might take a bit more time, but Luann could still text and make phone calls.

Just copy the text before you send it. Divide the large group list into smaller separate lists. Paste the text into each email to those smaller group lists. Send each with a gap of about a minute between. Less likely to be interpreted as Spam this way.

Back when I engaged in a much more restricted list of fora (primarily Compuserve’s Science Fiction & Fantasy), I’d send out a holiday message to all my friends (and enemies, too) around this time. GoComics is different—a whole bunch of different comics, a new “forum” for each, each day. However, since this is the theme of today’s Luann, and since this forum generally has the most comments of the ones I frequent, let me use this opportunity and place. I take my text from Greg Lake:

I wish you a hopeful Christmas

I wish you a brave new year

All anguish, pain and sadness

Leave your heart and let your road be clear

It was worth a try.

1) Don’t open with an apology; it’s admitting you think this is rude but are okay doing it anyway.2) Write it like a Christmas card; a heartfelt message you are sending to many people. This is a good start, if you take out the apology.3) BCC everybody instead of CCing.

Use higher voltage batteries in your mouse. That way, when you click, it sends a more powerful pulse, and the email always goes through.

It’s the Law, Luann. You should have learned by now to expect the Law of the Perversity of Inanimate Objects!
