    Problem is, bird, you have to turn the word around so you’re reading it from the point of view of the intended audience. I have the same problem with signs painted on roads. The folks who plan them apparently assume that people will read the words as they approach (from the bottom up), so “Railroad Xing” appears on the road with “Railroad” under “Xing.” But I always read it from the top down: “Crossing Railroad.” Fortunately I have enough smarts to understand what they’re trying to tell me.
