My son started college as a music major. He was also part of the marching band. He played trumpet. During a break in the action at on of the school’s football games, we heard some notes on the trumpet mimicking the laughter of the cartoon character, Woody the Woodpecker.

I think the rule is, “if you make it, you can name it.” It might not make any sense, but, artist’s privilege.
