Brad’s probably cleaner in the firehouse kitchen than he is at home. Human nature, but mothers will always be mothers, regardless of how advanced their ages are.

An attentive spouse with a hug and a witty quip is a pretty decent Mother’s Day present, even if he is holding a Dad-logo mug. Happy Mother’s Day!

The main rule is my house is DON’T MAKE a MESS! If you make a mess, clean it up.

This is the first current Luann strip that I’ve given a like to in a long time. It’s a throwback to the Luannaverse strips of years ago.

I can relate. I get the kitchen clean and 20 minutes later the kids mess it up. Otherwise, Happy Mother’s Day! ……(and STFU Frank!)

Why is Brad eating breakfast at his parent’s house? He lives with Toni.

Kind of a sloppy cartoon. No eyes for Frank in panel one, no stripes for Frank in panel two, but that’s okay because he’s just kind of a sleeze who really doesn’t care about his wife’s feelings. He’s been standing there watching his idiot children create a disaster in the kitchen and says/does nothing. They create a mess and they aren’t even doing it making Mom breakfast. Just working on their own snacks. Now if we were to see a comic tomorrow showing Frank cleaning it all up I would take it back, but he’s the kind of guy who will just get his cup of coffee and leave it for whoever (which means Nancy). And Greg, it takes a really rude, ignorant kind of man to publish a cartoon like this, with a husband like this. holding a big front and center Dad cup on Mothers Day.

It’s good that Brad knows first aid. Someone will get injured when they run into that open cabinet door.

Luann and Brad appear to be regressing to their younger versions, which makes me think the whole thing is a gag; it’s a nostalgia prank to remind her of her younger Mother’s Days, when she really did have to ride herd on them all the time. In the next unseen panel, hopefully they’re doing all the cleaning up and making her a nice breakfast — or taking her out.

relax Nancy. when people eat, there’s a mess. just make everyone clean up after themselves; they don’t leave until they do so.
