Stephan, The Publisher thanks you for the free advertisement .Look it up gang tis a real address. But Stephan where is the box for : MORE CROCS ? ………Croc Power !
This reminds me of the prank where many ( many, many, many, many ) years ago, a guy on a radio station told the kids to tune the radio to that station, take the knobs off the radio and send the knobs to the station.
Parents were later invited to come to the station to claim their radio knobs from five huge barrels.BBWWahahaha !
I’d love to help out. Really I would. This comic is in my top 44 each day. Some days it number 1 butt it’s often number 2 LOL Almost always in the top 40 and if it were a song that would be really good. I’m gonna need a go fund me to buy a stamp and my printer needs toner to print that panel. Lord knows I can’t afford the paper.
Reminds me of Stephan Colbert’s original show, during the years of Bush the Second. He would open interviews with “George W Bush, great president or the greatest president?”
As much as I’d like to fill out the form, I’m so sick of surveys! I can’t shop, eat out, or have service work done without being coerced into filling out a survey to tell them “how they are doing”. Stephan, you are doing just great, if you weren’t, I wouldn’t be reading your strip and making this comment.
Googled that address. It is the publisher of “The Far Side”. Bill Watterson is Pastis’s friend and rival, remember? He once drew something in Pastis’s strip. This is a prank Pastis is playing on Watterson.
Whats not to love about a cartoonist who breaks the 4th wall (and frequently lets his creations pound him for his puns)? Happy Belated Cartoonist’s Day Stephan!
It’s so funny. Editor must be evil and won’t let him publish some good strips that he must think is not suitable for children, but the rest of the world wants to see. The stuff you see on television and radio and the internet is not suitable for children, but somehow they allow it. At least the comics and some churches are the last groups to keep things safe for us!!! Good job legitimate comic strips!!!! P.S. I vote for “A”
If there were a link to that form I would copy and paste into an email back to them. There is not even an e address listed for that so Steph is safe from Mr. Jackson getting feedback from this reader. My printer has not been hooked up for months.
Aw, there, there, little Stephan, you don’t have to be like that. We do LOVE you! Especially the Sunday Puns! We want to invite you to a party to celebrate! (Pssst, Rat, hide that bat!)
It’s the best comic strip in the newspaper — was the best, when I still got the newspaper. But the newspaper made me too angry every morning. So, now I get my comics fix online.
