Thorin appears to be ‘neglected’ for the moment. It’s Zappin’ time !!!  If the ladies came to help it’s now or not at all !

Oh wow, the Moonies are so siked up their electric bolts are green today! LOL!

Moonatics abound! Will Tracy’s plan get off the ground?

By the way, since Tracy’s NOT talking in panel 3 yet his breath is visible JPW’s theory from yesterday is shot down faster than Gweedo’s roadkill supper!

Tracy is wearing his rubber union suit and their electric bolts can’t harm him (as long as the back flap is up).

I’m looking forward to seeing this one wrap. Maybe the next Tracy story will be better.

Mysta will stupefy the armsmen (Like Stupefyin’ Jones in Li’l Abner)/ Then Shaygin and Noneymoon will attack from that moon coupe that was at a different angle than the others.

The armsmen cannot arrest two individuals at the same time. They already had Thorin but they let him go to get Tracy. See p3

What Dick said in P. 2. has me solidly convinced he has the ring. With the two of them together, closeup, Zaps will be handily reflected back leaving D. and T. untouched.

Tracy should have stayed with the right to remain silent.

You have to wonder what his overall plan was. And what TRACY’S overall plan is to get out of this mess.

DT – “Ha! They fell for it. The plan is working.”

T – “Really? What’s the plan?”

DT – “Huh?… I haven’t thought of it yet… But it’s working.”

One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

I only see one of Tracy’s hands. Hopefully the ring or a protective device is within reach of the hidden one. This might wrap up on Sunday !!!

well, now the chit really HAS hit the fan… it’s now looks like it’s going to be up to Mysta and/or Honey to save Dick and Thorn’s bacon, or else Dick has a reason to want to be standing with Thorin so as to POSSIBLY use the Bribery ring, which he’ll JUST so miraculously happen to have on his person to use as a cheap, lame-ass convenient excuse of bringing it in to save their own bacon, when their is absolutely NO fooking reason for it being with Dick at ALL… NONE… but I guess this solution will easily please those here who ARE SO desperately hoping against all hope that the ring WILL come into play…

I’ve been resisting this idea, but after today’s strip, I really do think that Tracy has the ring.

Tracy either has the ring or he has something made for him that was engineered from the same tech.

A week and a half ago I theorized that Dick and Thorin had been concocting a scheme off-page and that Marina was likely part of it and not actually dead. I hope I’m right, because if this is the best these two titans of intellect could come up with and they’re about to be somehow rescued from an revolutionary faction allegedly strong enough to conquer Earth by Mysta and Honeymoon stumbling in on accident, this is really stupid.

I see a lot of folks think Dick Tracy has brought and will use that anti-Lunarian plot-magic ring. I was wondering about that back when Thorin was talking about how “defenseless” Earth would be against the Lunarians’ extremely-short-range mind powers, but since it hasn’t even been hinted at during this story it would be a pretty massive butt-pull if it happened now. I don’t know how Dick would use this ring against Ro-zan’s sizable force of armsmen and allies without catching Mysta, Honeymoon, and other Lunarian bystanders in the “crossfire,” but then again scientific inventions in this universe are basically just do-whatever-the-plot-needs magic, so I’m sure it would be fine.

I’d also love to see the requisition request Dick would have written to get this ring out of the police evidence lock-up. “I am going on a diplomatically-sensitive vacation to the magic-alien homeworld. Please let me borrow this one-of-a-kind device which can maybe incapacitate or even kill their entire population. Also, if it turns out they plan to attack and kill us all, I’m not telling you. I am a very good cop.”

Tracy has that ring. Without it he has no defense in that place. His demand in panel 2 smacks of a setup…

Tracy has a plan. It may not be a good one, but it’s probably the only play he can come up with, given this situation.

Tracy really looks angry…but one man alone?

After this story is finished, I hope Mike and Shelley will outline all future episodes on a chalkboard first before committing them to the page. Such a tactic might minimize the disappointment and letdown some of the readers feel.

What is that green stuff, they are putting on Thorin? These creatures leak jello?

“I demand the right to stand with the Ambassador”. Demand granted! You, Tracy get to stand with the Ambassador in front of a firing squad. Of all the predicaments Tracy has been in, who would have thought he would go out this way.

1-BRO-ZAN: FOOL!!! You fell into my trap! Well, actually, I didn’t have one but you kind of made one yourself and then fell into it…

2-DT: Which one of these coupes takes me back to Tracyville?

3-BRO-ZAN: The Coupe-Port Metal Detectors are broken so you’ll have to have the pat down.

DT: No problem. In fact – I kind of prefer it. I dress to the right…and if you’re worried – that’s not a gun in my pants, I’m just happy to see you.

THOR-IN: DO ME NEXT!

The clue to how Tracy and Thorin will escape this predicament can be found in the color of the sparks emanating from the heads of these armsmen. They will be easily overpowered because they are inexperienced.

They are all a bunch of greenhorns.

….I notice that the “armsmen” already unhanded Thorin…..now he need only punch at least one of ‘em out, D.T.’ll punch out the other one (“…and HERE’S a constitutional left for you”….POW!!!)…….

If Tracy and Thorin can just trick him into monologuing, they’ll have a chance at getting out of this! Monologuing gets people killed :D

OK, without even looking at anyone else’s comments….Tracy has that gimmick that the rich nut “collector” had that bounces moon people’s rays back at them, right?

Now is there something common Tracy can use to affect their powers? A scientific solution!

So far, things are not looking good for the Good (or in Thorin’s case, at least Not So Bad) Guys. With just Saturday’s strip to go before Sunday’s, where I expect a momentous climax, will we see the girls to the rescue? What else might save the day?
