Oh, I see where this is going: the age-old there’s all kinds of ruckus and racket that Brad’s desperate to quell so as to not disturb Toni, and after all is said and done, he breathes a sigh of relief, but it’s that sigh of relief that Toni hears and is disturbed by cliche, eh?

Maybe Toni should move into the mansion with Tif.

I don’t think Bwad knows what to do when someone’s resting, which makes him seem kinda stupid. The others are making noise because he encouraged them.

So much for playing “weo quiet.” i can only hope that Toni comes rushing out of the bathroom wrapped only on a towel with a btoom to beat the carp out of them.

TJ yells “Score” and Brad realizes that “score” is one word he won’t be using for a while.

Brad you need to tell TJ and Shannon to go outside or stop playing the game while Toni is trying to rest after a long day at work.

I could definitely see T.J. dropping that lamp tomorrow.

Sorry, Brad, you don’t need a crystal ball to see that Toni rules the roost.

Why is Toni so tired? Just from work, or will we find out that she is expecting?

Great save! Ok, they’re both a nuisance, but I think between hearing Shannon and TJ screaming and the sound of something breaking, Toni prefers the former.

Bundle them up and send them out to the park if they want to make noise.

And I imagine that Toni will be having a serous talk with Brad about TJ getting his own place.

This is still all Toni’s fault. If she would have told Jonah to stop dropping Shannon off unannounced, then none of this would have ever happened!

Even though I have not had a correct projection of things about to happen in this strip for quite a while…wouldn’t it be interesting if the last strip of the year was Toni telling the three kids playing with the marshmallows that they were going to have a new member of the family to enjoy a few months from now?

If there is one thing I’ve learned about comedy (TV, movies, comic strips) is that people tend to continue to make bad decisions for it to occur.

So how do we start the new year? Plenty of plot options for Tiffany and the manse, but I’d like to see something interesting involving Luann. Maybe she could take Shannon to Disneyland – of course she meets a guy – but what to do with Shannon along? Also it’s time for another arc with Luann and Tara. Gunther & Bets options are more limited unless G & K decide to take intimacy a little further.

I vote for Toni is too tired to let a happy noise keep her from her rest. She is a remarkably wise woman for her age.

OK guys put the marshmallow gun away, gather up all the marshmallows and put them back in the bag. Wipe down the coach cushions and then a nice dinner.
