And on a sad note, Broadcasting legend Barbara Walters has passed away at 93. She was a major talent. I’ll never forget watching all those interesting (after Oscar) interviews she did. RIP!

Well, so much for the idea of Toni getting angry and moving to her in-laws’ quieter home.

What a dreary strip to end to the year with. I was expecting a teaser. Oh well…

Toni is the perfect aunt. And inadvertently this turned into an entertaining New Year’s Eve party.

Best panel is panel 2 with Brad hiding behind the couch in fear from what he thinks will be Toni’s anger.

Could it be that Brad put the same type of “exotic oils” in Toni’s bath that Les put in Tiffany’s? Something that causes short term memory and judgement loss?

Or has Shannon (Jonah) totally assimilated everybody in Pitts?

At any rate, Luann and Shann fans should be placated with these last couple of arcs.

Toni is a hardworking fireman and wife, but she is also very fun.

Just like “There’s always room for jello”, there’s always enough energy for a little fun. A hot bath / shower usually willrecharge the batteries, at least a little bit.

ha ha ha, even exhaustion can’t bring down the fun! :D

And the family had an evening of fun and happiness together, all thanks to Shannon and to Jonah’s peculiar gift. What a beautiful end of the year fairy tale ♡. It’s always great to see Toni happy.

I’m surprised Toni didn’t take time to thrown on a robe. Oh, well it’s just a boring pair of Pajamas, and, not one of those “interesting” nightgowns she wears for those occasions when she and Brad can have fun, alone.

Glad I don’t read this strip’s comments very often. There’s some people on here with some social skill issues. Cringe.

Just going to say this. Plain marshmallows are awful. I’d be done after one.

I may have done that when my boys were little and I was 20+. I remember trying out their pogo stick and swinging on the jungle bars with them. Inside play was something else- like using “inside voice”. Seems today parents …..don’t parent.

Nice to see Toni again, in any case. It was always kinda unfortunate the wedding was the point where her character stopped being a regular.

She looked like she needed a quick shower and nap before joining the fun. They kept a spot open for you.

Overall, I have been happy with the strip over the past year. It has been fun to read and talk about. I hope to see more character growth into 2023.

RIP, Barbara Walters. Remember when she interviewed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? She made poor Donatello cry, she did.

For those of you hoping for Bradoni (Brad + Toni) to become parents, maybe, just maybe, Shannon is all the child they need. Maybe they don’t need to get pregnant. Being married does not mean needing to have kids of your own.

She will be a great mom…
