My dad used to say, “Eat your (whatever we said we didn’t like). It’ll put hair on your chest!” We never thought to ask him if that was so, why was his chest as bare as a baby’s bottom?

Hopefully it put the hair back on his head that the stylist hacked off.

My Grandpa said it put hair on your poopeck. Means belly button.

My mom told me to eat my peas because it would “put hair on my chest.” I don’t know what argument she used with my sister.

None of those tufts seem to be coming from his chest. I can definitely see why he’d be unhappy with this development.

Coffee does no such thing. Strong or weak.

My dad said the same thing about onions. I didn’t have a love for them until after I turned 18, due to how strong of a taste white round onions can be. Vidalias are no problem for me, but the ones that make my eyes water are too much.

I made coffee once. It was strong enough to climb out of the pot and introduce itself to people and would probably befriend Roger’s coffee. I’m now forbidden to make coffee.

Must be the new Transylvanian Roast.

My mother never used the “It’ll put hair on your chest” line, but she did tell me that eating spinach would put color in my cheeks. My reply: “Who wants green cheeks?”

I swear this is a repeat of this strip. I’ve seen it before.
