This reminds me of an exchange in Dear Abby when someone wrote in saying “Send me a copy of your book, and if it’s any good I’ll send you a check.” Her response: “Send me the check, and if it’s any good I’ll send you the book.”
The customer may not always be right, but they have the money so that’s alright. Do your trick or move on. Still, it doesn’t hurt to see the money first.
