oh, something’s brewing and it ain’t the tea (it’s Tiffany making a business proposition)

It just gets worse. Tiff as Nails part 2….

Dez isn’t about making money (but has a spare $600 laying around) and now Tiff is seeing $ signs.

Tiff wants to get paid for live…i think that is still illegal though, right?

Tiff looking for a quick way to make some cash.

Rooibos is the main ingredient in “red bush tea” consumed in Southern Africa. Since you were wondering, it’s not intoxicating.

Here we go: another business venture.

Tiff the Tea Lady”, has a nice ring to it or does Tiff use Dez to market the product kind of like how various entities have used Harlan Sanders to market KFC since he initially sold the franchise in the ’60s?

So if Tiff does get in the tea business, how likely is it that she will overlook a lot of important information about permits and licensing just like she overlooked a lot of important details when she started up the McMansion storage venture at Casa Farrell last summer? Did she learn anything from Pops after that fell apart?

Looks like Kip wants to explore some “free love” & he is eyeing just the person to free him from his brain-dead ditz of a girlfriend.

“Some people want to pay”, could be taken two ways.

Doesn’t Kip get enough free love. Steph took off and Kip has a tea party with Tiffany? Tiffany’s brain went into business mode.

Don’t think about it Tiff, remember what happened when you did the personal storage rental?

Beautiful strip about how awesome Dez is. A generous heart that wishes people happiness♡. Kip starts seeing that and I’m pretty sure he also starts liking her for how good and nice she is, the complete opposite of Stef. Meanwhile, Tiffany is already thinking about her next entrepreneurial activity to do in her mansion, “Five o’clock tea at Tiffany’s”. The first customers could be Kip and Stef. If he’s lucky, they could argue and break up for real during the event.

Didn’t Tiffany get in trouble for operating a business out of her dorm room? I don’t think Dez can sell her tea.

I can almost hear the gears clicking in Tiff’s mind! :D

Oh, no! Every time Tiff’s money wheels start turning, disaster follows.

Tiff is just realizing a new way to make money.

I don’t think Kip knows what “Free Love” really means.

She has such a close relationship with a tea sommelier that she was gifted an entire cabinet full of rooibos? She must have been dropping a lot of money in that sommelier’s shop, so Dez clearly comes from money. And I’m gonna bet old money. The kind that doesn’t flaunt it.

Is Tiff remembering what she learned in that economics class she had with Bets?

That’s Nice, Dez.

But.

“Who” pays for water that you use?

Or the pots and containers?

Or the tools used to harvest the tea?

Or the shelves your tea is stored on?

Or the land the tea is grown on?

Or the enviable taxes charged on the land?

No, I really want to know.

Because I suspect Dez actually has a “money tree” that she’s not telling anyone about.

And I want some of those seeds. ;-)

It does sort of make sese that Dez would have red bush. (tea)

So what is the “some people want to pay“ thing? It’s in quotes, so it would seem like it comes from somewhere, but it doesn’t seem to come from a recent strip.

I really hope GnK stop referring to Dez’s tea as “free love” cause if Tiffany is going to convince Dez to start monetizing it to make it so she’s able to quit her job as a waitress… yeah, Tiffany will seem like she’s plmping out Dez’s “free love.”

Also how loaded is Dez that we have no explanation for how she has $600 to just give away and toils and buys gardening necessities just to give it away without accepting any money?

Is Tiff thinking this is a potential business venture? I hope not! She needs to stay out of it. After all, Dez just got whining Stef off her back. She and Kip need to take the win and be grateful.

Tiff has gone from writing a contract to thinking of a new business venture. She’s really in business mode!

Dez is using a electric kettle? I figured she would use a real fire with some kind of exotic wood from the Amazon.

So some people want to pay Dez for her tea. Does she accept their money and how much do they give her? She would probably accept the money because it would be insulting to say no to their kind offer.

It turns out most bill collectors do not accept payment in “love”. Go figure….

Tiffany! Don’t think tea! Just keep pondering on things people WANT to pay for.

My beloved Tiffany realizes some only value that which costs them. She’s considering how she might make them happier.
