Bernice is a hypocrite! She was GAGA over Piro before they had the bad kiss.

Even if she wants nothing to do with Piro, she at least should have replied to his letter. That was just plain rude. Piro didn’t deserve that.

It will be interesting to see where Luann and her Curiousishness leads with Piro.

Bernice’s word are clearly those of a conflicted person. Don’t go dating the man I may still decide I want.

Some wonder how these two can be best friends; well it’s obvious, they know each other well. Both have conflicted but warm feelings over Piro, then the Nil/Jack thing is going on. Piro is going to read his dramatic life story too. Lu’s comedy. Ber ice trying ot to look at nude Jack pic? Out to be wild.

Bernice likes to give out advice but she want even open a letter from Piro that’s just plane rude but Luann gives Bernice some hard facts.

Inhaling a romance novel? Looks more like a cookie

Looking back, I can see the emotional mine field that the girls are encountering. Something will go “boom” in their delicate fantasy world, and they will hurt for a bit, their confidence might have a little earthquake, but they will come back………..or they won’t, and they’ll sit on a park bench, feeding the birds and drinking wine from a bottle concealed in a brown paper bag.

Seems like they’re being awful catty with one another the last few days

Bernice needs a course in how true friendship works. Otherwise she grows up to be an elitist “ I know better than you so let me control you”.

Luann makes a good point, while Bernice continues to be pure torment in human form.. i’d say i’m exagerating but when nearly EVERY line a character says is passive agressive and/or judgmental it gets tiring.

What about your steamy dream you had of Jack Bernice?

So, I take it that this week’s arc is just “filler”? It’s just sort of here for the sake of being here?

I guess they’ve all forgotten about Jack…

Bernice, you can’t tell Luann who she can and can’t fall in love with!

Can’t believe that Bernice believe of what she says and wants to avoid Piro because SHE considers HIM difficult. I don’t think Piro deserves such a heavy judgement, but who does it is Bernice, an egocentric young girl full of prejudices and with a low opinion of almost everyone around her. Maybe she’s sincerely worried Piro will make Luann suffer, but I can’t help but think she will end up going to hear Piro’s reading, it will move her deeply and bring her back into his life. Luann is the one who is facing the whole thing the right way. She’s very interested in him, but she is not burdening him with questions or attention. She tries to become friends showing her skills and an open mind, without trying to do any of the lame tricks that Bernice tried for make him notice her. I hope Piro finds a true friend in Luann and gets Bernice out of his head. She’s a very difficult person.

I’m loving this “girl talk.” Neither one sounds snarky. Both are talking from their Head. Neither is consulting their emotional side. Maybe tomorrow will be different.

Oh, BURN!

Bernice has been living rent free with Luann for years. Let Luann date Piro, if that’s what she wants. Give her a break.

Bernice’s point is matched by Luann’s burn. (Though you might try reading one of those “Bodice Rippers,” Luann. They don’t help Bernice’s inhibitions, but you could be a diferent story.)

I don’t see where Bernice has done anything wrong. Her attitude is correct. She was infatuated for sure, but then Piro dragged her into his messed up world, she did the right thing (at her own risk) to keep him from being arrested, and then he ghosted her. Why on earth do people think she owes him something or that she is being rude?

It seems strange for Bernice to be giving warnings about the perils of amore. For all practical purposes, she’s the amore queen on this strip. Not even Stef can match her for long kissing.

Luann and Bernice are to very immature young girls who cannot even support themselves. They don’t seem to be on the same maturity level of Piro. It will be interesting to see how a relationship, if any, would even develop with either Luann or Bernice.

Bernice is an incredibly tiresome character. She is a walking stereotype of the very traits that made me dislike pysch majors so much when I was younger. Constantly trying to analyze and control the people around them when they hadn’t even finished their own studies. Bernice has had control issues from the very start and they’re just getting worse. It’s exhausting.

And steamy ones at that!

I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that we will never see the book signing or the fair or the mansion burglar or Nils painting.

Bernice calling someone else “difficult” is the height of irony. That girl lacks any self-awareness whatsoever.

Just DO him, Luann!

Good advice remains good advice even if we decide not to take it.

OFF-TOPIC DISCUSSION:

Have you guys seen the just-released Roddenberry Archive? Among other things, it lets you do a virtual walkaround of the bridge of the Starship Enterprise, in EVERY iteration (i.e. the one from the Original Series, each movie, The Next Generation, the future/past versions that we barely saw, and even the JJ Abrams movies.) As a Star Trek fan I’m in heaven right now, so I figured I’d share with you all. I’d give the link but I hear external links are frowned upon, but just google Roddenberry Archive and eventually you should find the site itself among the other news stories talking about it.

Its about time for Luann to have a boyfriend again, isn’t it?

Oh, Luann, let’s not get into that again; Bernice will just deny it like her thing for Piro (and Jack).
